The deck itself was great, but your finishing touches make it look like it's meant to be there and it's now a feature of the backyard, which is a terrific reminder that simple projects can be finished to great effect.
I’m so inspired by your videos, I’m all pumped to stain my 800sqft deck that’s 3 months old. I’ve been so overwhelmed. But I’m pumped! Thanks for your 👌 videos!
The link to the Kreg Track saw isn't in the description or on your website. Is it because you didn't think it would be a good purchase? If so, what would be better if you already have a circular saw?
Love it. I just put my grill haphazardly on my front porch. We grill so much that I know my neighbors say to themselves "Clearly her stove/oven is broken".
Absolutely stunning Sam. It shows you don't need to build a complex piece of furniture to have something look this good! Now what was the first thing you grilled :)
I just finished a small floating deck in front of my service door on my barn. First time I've attempted something like this. Thanks for the inspiration.
I always do outside stuff full sun and hottest days..!! 😮 idk 🤷🏻♀️ it’s torture and satisfying at the same time!! I get my dermatologist would hate it! No hat either!! 😂
Hi great project 😊 im planning on making one at my backyard. When i seen that ur selling the package of ur books, i said that i want them, i would love for you to sign them. My name is Luis Rivera from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, do you sent them international, let me know anything before I purchase them before the time ends. 🎉😊
Enjoyed the project. If it makes you feel better, here in central Texas, we are on day 13 of 105+ degrees in a row. Rest assured, no decks being built here.
First 2 mins of thr video I'm watching your funny bone move ever so closer to miter saw😂😂😂 Sam, sadly that small deck will FAIL!! We all know how those flash mob Strong Island Dance Parties explode out of no where!! Bam!! 50 ppl. jumping up & down on that bad boyee is bad news!! Hoping all is well Kid, Dirty Jersey out!!! Oh I kill myself 😂🙏🤣
What would an instructional video be without someone actually walking you through the process? My goal with every project is not just to “entertain”, it’s to teach and explain. It took me a long time to get comfortable in front of a camera and comments like this make me second guess my progress and my vibe. Especially on videos like this one where I’m trying a new style of delivering my story. I’m trying my best here. Please be kind.
I have to say, I have seen SEVERAL gas grill fires due to grease and it’s actually a nice safety feature to have your grill on a structure that is not connected to your house in case anything happens.
Yes, obviously it might leave an indent, and most likely the ground won’t be level so you’ll have to use shims and blocks to level since you can’t dig.
