I have been trying to play catch up with your videos and am really enjoying them. I had a thought, as I watch, I wish I knew more about you, your business, your background, and what your plans are for your business/RU-vid. i.e. Learning more about Brian Robertson Furniture. Just a thought, I’m sure there may be plenty of others interested in your work as well. Keep up the good work.

David I work full time for another woodworking and work in my shop at night and on weekends. I’m just trying to build what I think is quality furniture and trying to make it my full time job. I started my RU-vid channel for possible clients and clients to see my work. I got more info about my business on my website

I like your design and your overall construction. However, you should re-think your glue technique. When gluing the shelf there is no need to glue end grain to cross grain when you have already installed and glued tenons. End grain glue to cross grain glue will not hold over time and only produces more glue squeeze out that you need to remove. Just trust the sturdy domino tenons and glue for the joint and save yourself a lot and sanding and finishing hassels.

I love the way the oil brings out the natural color and grains of the wood. Is that danish oil, or something else?

Yep, love the floating top but didn't show how you fastened it. Did you just up-screw through the supports?

Rick Everton the table 44” long 30” tall and 13” wide

So...you used a plunge/track saw to get a straight edge, why not use that edge on the table saw? you went to the band saw instead.

Hal Proctor bc it was a live edge slab I was using for the leg stock and that wide of material will more than likely pinch on the table saw. So band saw is safer
