@Piloto Armin Shojaie pickup and amp/or cab always provides for the greatest impact. Ask any audio engineer they'll say the same. Look up videos online doing A/B comparisons you'll hear little to no difference if the pickup and amp are the same between different guitars. Acoustic is another story.
@@K0sm1cKid Greatest impact, in your words. Material does impact things like volume and sustain, which is what makes a electric guitar a electric guitar. All this stuff acts as an EQ to dial in the EXACT sound you want. Yes, hardware makes the biggest impact, but you can't naturally gain more sustain through hardware or a petal. It's always gonna sound off. Light materials for more sustain, heavy for less.
Just an idea: create fretless neck with pencils, where each fret place is marked with perpendicular pencil instead of metal fret. In addition, frets may have a color gradient.
I don’t know how you people come up with such a brilliant idea it’s just awesome beautiful no words to describe wish I could have such talent my respect sir
I just finished watching a vid about how laminate guitar necks aren't as good, this is beyond laminated and it looks stunning. I got $5 that says the neck has no issues over time.
You could get cabinet scrapers to scrape instead of a razorblade, they come in square but also curved shaped, and they leave a super clean finish and I bet the curved ones could always be useful when cleaning up a guitar. Love what you do :)
When something so beautifully amazing touches you to your core, and you have a spiritual reaction so deep that your flesh can only register as tears. This made me cry. The "You've Got a Friend in Me" is partly responsible lol. I've always loved and wanted to learn to play the guitar, but I limited myself with the thought of "how hard it must be." This is just... beyond words. One can only dream of having one of these. ❤️
You make these stunning, one-of-a-kind guitars and they are absolutely beautiful. I hope that your work becomes iconic in the future and that your pieces become priceless and sought-after works of art. They are off the charts!
@Piloto Armin Shojaie yes, it is solved. I will continue enjoying this channel and you will continue being a little fun-spoiling snob. Have a nice day!
@Piloto Armin Shojaie Do you really? You look about 12 years old and only post flight sim vids, let's see your collection of "soooooooooo" many guitars and you actually playing one...
this one is way better than the previous colored pencil guitar in my opinion. the pattern is really nice and the thick layer of epoxy on top looks sick!
quando usados nas pinturas se perde tbm ,há mas perdeu mas pintou, esses aí também ,se perdeu mas tá aí uma perfeição de trabalho, muito melhor que muitos rabiscos feito com os lápis.
I love the neck-through design of pencil guitar version 2.0 I'd be interested in seeing how the neck holds up over time. While it does have the truss rod and a super-thick fretboard, I'm not sure how the epoxy will hold up under full string tension. I was expecting you might put a couple of carbon fibre reinforcing rods in the neck as a "just in case".
Whoa, neat! Can you build a guitar out of old guitar scraps sometime? Or maybe guitar strings? It would also be neat to see you make a guitar in the shape of a flying v sometime.
Sounds like a Strat to me. Great playing, and it's very impressive that you can basically "carve" a whole guitar out of wood and have it sound this good
you're doing the most amazingly beautiful guitars I've ever seen out of everything. Respect. I stopped playin a long time ago (can't do everything I do visual art) but you make me wanna start again with this one !!!
Seeing builds where you return to a previous theme is really heartwarming and a joy to watch. It's readily apparent all the skills you've cultivated through the years and it makes me happy for you! Also, I'm simply happy to see all your posts Cheers
"It's been 2 years since the last colored pencil guitar, so I figured I'd revisit the idea and do something new with it." Not really something you expect someone to say. I'm still thrown that this is his second one! :p
I’m so inspired by this video. You took something you have a deep passion for and then created something beautiful you can enjoy visually and practically. You should be so proud. I just found your channel but if this was me I’d display these self made guitars all over my house! (Idk maybe you do?)
this is so sick! That fact that it plays too is just even cooler- Amazing idea* I've never heard of this channel! Best people are always underrated or not really well known. subbed (:
hey man, excellent video as always, i just want to thank you for the inspiration, as someone who wants to build guitars i have gained so much from your videos. Back in college i planned to build a resin jazzmaster for my final project with CD's in it with the shiny side up to get an interesting reflective appearance, unfortunately i was never able to complete it and i have since left college, i hope i can get round to building some instruments soon, and i hope you carry on to be a huge inspiration to others. thanks - Fin
Pencils look awesome. The exaggerated effect on the neck/sides is kinda like a lava lamp. First Patreon creator I’ve signed up for.. looks like I’m your 3rd patron! Look forward to the next. Keep on keepin’ on with that good good.
Wish I could play the guitar, can't do much with my hands theses days. All my fingers have shifted out of place due to an unknown muscle condition. Loved watching you make the guitar and play it.
Do they have to be "Millennium" pencils then? 🤣🤣 I absolutely love the finished result along with the lady-shoe headstock, stunning ...... and as for your playing and what I'm hearing, WoW!
