Hey everyone! It's time for another build. I've been wanting to build a multiscale instrument for quite a whil now. So, I decided to build a 4 string multiscale bass.
This video series will probably take 4 parts.
This is part 1, where I will focus on the fretboard and the most important aspect of this build, which are the fanned frets. details will be:
- jointing and gluing up the body blank
- thicknessing the fretboard blank
- fretboard shaping
- marking and slotting the fanned frets
- putting on binding
