nice table but to help keep it flat and square you really should tac it all first then weld it keeping as much heat out of one spot as possible. For the legs you should have def attacked them before fully welding them to keep warping down. Great call on the Cold Cut saw. i have an evolution's and i love it. much needed for any metal working
Those are so you can fit the "F" clamp bottom end through, so then you can clamp almost any shape to the table in any position (angle)and any location. Have you seen the factory made Fabrication Tables? Look up Certi-Flat?
How you finding the chop saw? I found I get through so many blades, next big project going to try cutting fluid, although they are dry cut blades, see if it prolongs the blade life
