WOW! I didn't know how to finish around my bunk windows over my bed. You two have inspired me so much with the way you're building out your campervan. I'm learning so much!
Thank you. I won't lie it took a ton of time. The video doesn't do it justice. I can only time lapse so many hours of sanding before it gets boring to watch. We just finally did some touch ups and plan to sand and paint soon. Then it should look amazing

Love it! You did such a good job of getting the panel to fit the curves of the van. I've done a terrible job figuring out how to scribe things to do that. Everything ends in straight lines or randomly cut off triangles, haha! You did such a good job of saving internal living space too. I feel like my framing pushed the walls out so much. Looking forward to seeing how much further you get on the van with quarantine! Stay safe!
Thanks guys! Trust us it took a lot of back and forth with jigsaw and sander to get it to fit like that lol. Time will tell if it will be worth doing the walls in so many separate parts for that spare inch or less lol but in such a small van (136" wb) we figured why not.

“Teamwork makes the dream work” - I love it! Neat seeing how you guys framed in the windows. How did you get a nice finished edge with the luan? Ours shredded like that too when we were cutting some material for our wall but yours ended up looking pretty good!

That is a Kreg Jig! It's so useful for making pocket holes and screws. Check out our video about building the slide out bench and wheel well box we explain it in full on that one!
