Νice job..! Bravo..! It would be great at the final video , to show us how the buggy used to look and roll and how will it look and roll when it i'll be finished!! :)
Turns out I should be able to get the same travel with the shorter arms using the bigger wheels, plus the new setup will be a stonger design, should be interesting
Ahhh,,, coffee and a Groutaone video along with no school. I like your jig. I gotta figure one up for making expansion chambers. I think I'll make a pipe for a CR500 if you catch ma drift ;) ;) (it'll be a while until I get the metal though lol)
One of the big things in the way for long travel before was the small wheels, the only way I could dig up tons of travel was to go wide, however by adding more than tripple the horspower I can use a much larger wheel which adds to the travel available but now I also need a stronger A-arm because of the power, wheel size and weight increasing, I enjoy this, its like a big box of Lego ha ha
The top arm may not change much from whats in the video but the bottom one will get a lot of support as it has to hold the shock load, hope to show more soon
That's pretty smart idea you got there bud even if you climb hills or break something you can have build one in the matter of minutes and be back out there in a heartbeat ehh
these arms look about a foot shorter than the first ones you made i was wondering what the old arms would have looked like on the buggy for ground clearance and suspension travel but i thinki the shorter arms would be better with the busa engine
Groutaone! I'm not resorting to watching these old long travel suspension build vids. When will you get some new ones up for us? I have a 750 nitehawk and my club car golf cart that I want to combined plus a long travel kit!! I'm in Ontario if you need help anytime!
I took a mechanics class in high school, other than that its just learn by doing I guess, its stuff Iam interested in so I have always wanted to learn and still do
