You should play as Winston Churchill, and go down the 'Dust To Dust' path, to get the Avatar The Avatar is quite possibly the most wacky (and wonderfully difficult) path you can go down. It's a great challenge, and you get war goals on ALL of Asia, along with some insane buffs

I mean, a starting general for Fiume is infamous fascist priest Reginaldo Giuliani (misspelled Giulani), centrist priest Luigi Sturzo was prime minister once the war started, you can put up Harukichi Shimoi as Duce and the Kingdom starts up with a chad colonial empire made up of stolen French real estate. What's not to like?

As someone who has played a fair bit of Red Flood, it definitely wasn't your fault Germany curbstomped France. I have never once seen France get even remotely close to winning that war without me interfering heavily. In fact, 95% of the time France will go to war with Germany while still at war with Italy and lose even worse, so I think you actually were really helpful by closing one of the fronts early.
