Neither. The opening ceremony will take place on the Seine River in the heart of Paris. But the closing ceremonies (Olympics and Paralympics) will indeed take place in the Stade de France. 😊

The parade of athletes will be held on the Seine River with boats for each national delegation. These boats will be equipped with cameras to allow television and online viewers to see the athletes up close. The parade will come to the end of its 6-kilometre route in front of the Trocadéro, where the remaining elements of Olympic protocol and final shows will take place. The river parade will follow the course of the Seine, from east to west over 6 kilometres. 95% of the venues are already existing or temporary. Only 5% were built especially for the Olympics, with the goal to make them reusable after the games

The Eiffel Tower Stadium is a temporary outdoor arena that will stage the beach volleyball event at the Olympics and the blind football event at the Paralympics. It will be dismantled after the Paralympic Games.
