Hey, i got diesel version with isuzu engine 1.7 As my first car, it drives pretty well. fuel consumption is low. Pretty simple car to work on. For now, doing some welding, because rusty cars in Latvia is pretty normal thing - salt on roads. This season im gonna work on simple exterior mods and maybe opc bumper aswell (still havent decided) But this car more going to be car audio dedicated. So most of finances will go on sound deadening, amplifiers, speakers etc. Its pretty cool to see astras like this. Nice job bro
It depends the economic level of someone , you could awap it z20let and have a nice fast car , you could scrap it and buy a modern fast car , or you could keep it and if you like it to put a bit of money on it , like opc bumber sound etc and keep it like everyday car , its decent car to doing your job so it doesn't need to be fast to be good ,
I own one Astra G cse, when I first got it it had 230 000km on it and now it's sitting on 268 000km. But I have just replaced the x18xe1 with z18xe. I have been fixing that one with no returns. Maybe the mechanics just didn't know their work when it comes to this car. I love everything about it, and you are motivating me to make it more nicer. The idea of that kind of radio and a rare camera is stolen. The head lamps though... I didn't know you can find demon head lamps. I just recently bought the same as the standard lamps. I am still using the 15s on the wheels, I think I can do with the 16s too. I love your rare spoiler. I will try and look for one too. My paint is in very bad shape... I think the car was once in a smash but they did a pretty good work to hide it. I started to see it now when it's pealing off.
Try to search at Google 1 din android , for the radio Astra g opc spoiler - wing And astra g angel eyes for the headlights , You will find them at ebay for sure , here in greece we have them and in our own city car markets , but if you dont then try ebay . It will cost you an amount of cash , i dont truly recommend it , but if you really want to keep the car and want to make it nicer then try to build it step by step dont hurry, i have the car 10 years and i try to do all these
@@crohn_killer I am in South Africa, 9 am not sure if I will ever get them here around, maybe I should really look at EBAY. I am not in the hurry though, I will take my time I love this car I is my first car ever and I have it since 2016.
It is beautiful for sure , most opels are beautiful , astra g , atra h , astra j , corsa d , corsa c etc , but astras g and vectra with this engine x14xe, x16xe , x16xe etc are enough reliable , depends how well the previous owner service them and how he care it , but it is an old engine so it might burns a bit of oil unfortunately . But mine with 210.000 khm it not , it runs like new ! I have 4 opels , opel corsa c , opel agila with z12xe , this astra , and one opel meriva a with 1.3 diesel , non of them butns oil at all
@@crohn_killer true but only big problem with 90s opels is the timing belt cuz it snaps so easily. Despite the timing belt those things are bulletproof
@@joeltoivonen6540 yes that right , and head gaskets is an issue , it must be a good mechanic to replace it because it will cause bigger issues and then head gasket will damaged more easily ,

Very low khm , so i hope will be good, its a good and decent car for doing your job and your movements ! Just replace the oil every 5k or 7k khm and all good ! The only bad thing is that it has very high fuel consumption... But mechanics said that its a very goid engine for lpg swap , if you go in a good mechanic installer

Hello my friend all of the parts that i have buy was from greek shops , and i dont really know if they sell them out of greece ... But if you google it i think you can find them at ebay
I live in greece, and here we have a lot of opel astra g still running , and we have some markets that they sell fake opc bumber for it , its is plug and play like the original one , and it very well made if you type astra g opc bumber on ebay you will find one i think 🤔 ! In greece costs around 170 euros , withouts fog lights and without painting , these are extra , overall it cost around 250euros

Φίλε καλησπέρα. Πριν λίγο καιρο απέκτησα κ γω ένα opel Astra g(x14xe) από παππού με 150.000χλμ. Το αμάξι το είχε σε άψογη κατάσταση. Επειδή έφτασε η ώρα για λάδια. Τι λάδια βάζεις; κάθε 10.000 τα αλλάζεις;
Θα σου πω ! Εγώ το προσέχω παραπάνω ! Πιστεύω δεν είναι φθηνά τα λαδακια για να τα τσιγκουνευομαι , αλλαζω κάθε 5000 χιλιόμετρα μαζί με φιλτρο λαδιού , τώρα λάδια δεν θα ξέρω καλά !ο μιχανικος μου μου έχει πει ότι ότι και να βάλεις αν είναι μάρκα είναι καλά. ! Δηλαδή μην πας για lidloλαδα , τώρα και τα motul καλά είναι και άλλα , εγώ βάζω castrol . Αυστηρά 10/40 εμείς με τα υδραυλικά ωστηρια δεν μπορούμε να κάνουμε πειράματα , βάζουμε ότι προτείνει ο κατασκευαστής ! Η opel λέει 10/40 οπότε θα είσαι κομπλέ ! Με τόσα λίγα χιλιόμετρα αν ήταν καλά συντηρημένο φαντάζομαι δεν θα καίει σταγόνα λάδι

@@jobu2869 no mate i wasnt me , i live in Greece, but that period i dont move around with the astra , I have stick a led strip , and i put 2 wires on it + - and i connect with some stock wire of the car that power up when i light up the lights
Τα φανάρια angel eyes φωτίζουν καλά στο δρόμο?? Τι λάμπες έχεις επάνω? Προβληματίζομαι για το αν αξίζει σε απόδοση να κάνεις την αλλαγή. Σαν εμφάνιση δεν το συζητάμε ότι του πάνε καλά
Αν έχεις xenon και έχεις συνηθίσει με τα μαμά φανάρια θα ξενερώσεις , γιατί με τα μαμά φανάρια φωτίζει γάματα , αλλά δεν θα τυφλώνεις, φωτίζει μέτρια , αν έχεις κλασικά κίτρινα φώτα μην αλλάξεις τα φανάρια σου , μπορείς να βάλεις τα μαμά που πίσω έχουν φιμε αυτό !
Sorry but my English isnt the best ! If i understand right you want the socket for the mechanism that drives up and down the headlight projectors ? If you mean that unfortunately these headlights dont have it , you can calibrated manual with a screwdriver , there is a screw somewhere that goes the projector up and down manually ... you cant use the electric motor for these
@@gasmaksgas ok i got it ... i had go in a mechanic and has take them up , but i remember that he didn't use the angel eyes wired in the box , but he aplied right in the original wires in the car

Το δικό μου astra το έβγαζε χωρίς χειριστήρια στο τιμόνι , και δεν έχει την καλωδίωση , πρέπει να βρω σερπαντίνα να αλλάξω από astra που είχε χειριστήρια , και να το βάλω , γιατί τώρα έχω καλώδια μόνο για την κόρνα , μετά θέλει έναν ανταπτορα για να αναγνωρίσει τα χειριστήρια η πηγή . Αργότερα θα κοιτάξω να τα φτιάξω
@@crohn_killer Ίσως δεν παίξουν και πότε να ξέρεις γιατί στα μοντέλα χωρίς χειριστήρια το διαγνωστικό,το opcom τουλάχιστον δεν τα βρίσκει.Ενας τεχνικός μου είπε πως σε αυτή την περίπτωση δεν θα παίξουν ούτε και με ανταπτορα.
@@alexandroskanaris42 η δικια μου η σερπατινα βγαζει ενα καλωδιο που ειναι της κορνας ! θελει αλλο που να βγαζει 2 καλωδια να εχει και για τα κουμπια ! αν εχεις την δευτερη θα σε φτιαξει κανενας ηλεκτρολογος ! απο οτι ξερω εχει ετοιμα καλωδια μεχρι το ραδιο δεν χρειαεται να τραβηξεις αλλα
Εννοείται ! Φανάρια depo είναι! Απλά με αυτά δεν μπορείς να λειτουργείς το πάνω κάτω στα φανάρια, εκεί που φέγγουν δηλαδή , θα πρέπει να τα κάνεις χειροκίνητα με ένα Βιδάκη που έχουν μπροστά ..τα ρυθμίσεις κάπου να μην τυφλώνεις και το αφήνεις εκεί
Δεν πειράζει φίλε...απο το να μην έκανες τίποτα, έκανες αυτό που μπόρεσες έστω και αν ήταν σε βάθος χρόνου. Οι περισσότεροι είτε δεν κάνουν τίποτα ή τα θέλουν/βρίσκουν όλα έτοιμα. Εσύ έκανες αυτό που κάνουν οι μερακλήδες που ζούν στην πραγματικότητα της Ελλάδας 😎👍
@@K_N_44 εεε εντάξει ότι μπορεί ο καθένας δεν πειράζει , άλλοι κάνουν καλύτερη δουλειά , άλλη δουλεύουν παραπάνω και μπράβο τους , άλλοι έχουν υποχρεώσεις , εγώ προσωπικά δεν μπορώ να πετάω και τα 3 κστοσταρικα από τα 7 που παίρνω στο αμάξι , και μέρα να μην έχω. Να πάω για κανέναν καφέ ! Ωραία είναι και τα γκάζια , αλλά αν είναι να μην βγαίνεις έξω για να αποκτήσεις ένα αμάξι , μάλλον στην πραγματικότητα δεν το βαστάει η τσέπη σου !
Η οθόνη δεν λέγεται κάπως , μια Κινέζο οθόνη με android είναι , αν μπεις στο skroutz και πατήσεις andoid 1 din θα σου βγάλει πολλές τέτοιες αναδιπλούμενες , η δικιά μου έκανε γύρο στα 160 ευρώ ούτε η πιο φθηνή ούτε ακριβή την πείρα από ένα μαγαζί που λέγεται το καλάθι μου , αλλά δεν είναι επώνυμες , το δικό μου συγκεκριμένα είναι χειρόκινητο , εσύ τραβάς την οθόνη έξω . Δεν κολλαει είναι αρκετά καλή , αρνητικό είναι ότι : το ραδιόφωνο δεν είναι ραδιόφωνο, σήμα 0 μια αηδία δεν ακούγεται, και δεύτερων όταν μιλάς με.bluetooth έχει αρκετή καθυστέρηση
And now i want to spend a bit more ! I want 2500 euro for a 2.0 turbo swap , 230 euro for new radio , 250 euro for a new amplifier, 700 for a new paint ,100 for window tint ,that was all i want i think 🤔! The car is in excellent condition and it does the job very well i think it will run for other 10years

Μην ακούς κανέναν φίλε! Αυτά είναι αυτοκίνητα για να αντέχουν! Καλά κάνεις κ το φτιάχνεις αρκεί να είναι σε πράγματα ουσίας! Εγώ μοτέρ πάντως δν αλλάζω έχω το ίδιο αμάξι 5πορτο 1.4cc 16χρονια!! Για μένα αυτό που αξίζει πραγματικά να αλλάξεις είναι μετατροπή τα πίσω ταμπούρα σε δισκόφρενα!! Το έκανα κ επιτέλους έχω φρένα!! Κ κατι ακόμα όσον αφορά την εμφάνιση που μου στοναρει στο δικό σου...είναι οι ζάντες!! Βάλε 16αρες κ αμα βρεις του opc!! Θα φαίνεται κ θα στρίβει σαν άλλο αμάξι!! 🔥
