I was once married to a Contractor...and he would have NEVER attempted to build cabinets from scratch! Total RESPECT for your hubs to be willing to take on this project 🖤🖤🖤
OH MY GOSH! You guys!!! Like this is nobel prize worthy in the design world! You both are incredible designers /carpenters and just an awesome couple to watch create and love, love and create. Your daughter is bar none the most adorable little girl ever,...the apple does not fall far from the tree! Love you guys! Love your channel! You will go viral someday soon with your incredible talents and beautiful personalities! ...now, did I miss the making of that epic stove hood! wow and wow!!
The kitchen and cabinetry came out beautiful! You must feel a sense of accomplishment! I wish youtube would notify me when you post but sadly, it does not. Glad I checked in. Thank you for sharing all of your details as well! I read your blog posts all the time.
Jenna Sue, my favorite is back, she in da house! Huge amount of tips here, thanks. They say that the more amount of drawers in the lower cabinets the better, rather than shelves, and I can see why. You can see exactly what is in the back there, easily. I have heard that that a bullnose on your countertop is OUT, but it really fits here, especially with small children. Now IMHO, the range hood is a couple of curves too much, but at least you just painted it white. I don't like (pet peeve) the huge, ornate range hoods that dominate the kitchen and is the focal point. (think "Tuscan"). It makes me wonder, WHY? This one is simple enough, considering the ceiling. All in all, very well thought out down to your signature very subtle details. Hubby is certainly doing great work, I remember that built-in day bed thing he built. Nothing worse than sloppy work, props to him. The little drip ledge under the sink is genius. The toe kick detail looks like a pain but so worth it. The most important thing is what a cute and happy and healthy baby. Congrats, you are both blessed.
I love this kitchen and I really love the colors. Great job. I'm impressed how you guys made the cabinets. I don't think I would have the patience to do that.
