You saying “it’s not a very big kitchen” and “there’s not a tonne of storage space” is crazy to me because I see it as a gigantic kitchen, almost bigger than the entire 1st floor of my house.

Our home's kitchen was renovated in the 90's with Kraftmaid cabinets - they are still in pristine condition!

When designing your kitchen, what made you decide to go with a U shape of bottom cabinets on all walls vs on one wall with an island for example? I have a similar size kitchen I’m designing and I am leaning more towards the island idea because I worry I would find the open space between the cabinets on both walls too big/too far away. Do you feel it’s practical? I looove the custom look of your kitchen! 💛

This might be a super stupid question, but if your appliances (fridge & dishwasher) aren't panel ready, can they not be paneled somehow?

Hi there I know I'm making a comment on a different video you made on flooring, but if you wouldn't mind answering a question because when I go into buy a laminate flooring to run through 3 bedrooms and a landing I want a nice floor but the sale's people are saying oh you need 8mm then another shop oh you need 10mm I have been told I need up to 12mm in thickness. Maybe if I had Young children ect I could understand why I'm getting conflicting information. But it's 3 adults no animals like cats are dog's. But if this is your private home could you advise on the best thickness. No under floor heating. Living in Ireland so average temperatures. Never nothing to hot are to Cold. I don't know if you needed any are all the information I gave. But I'm thinking the reason I'm getting this conflicting information is maybe the sale's people are on commission ect. Thank you apologies for such a long question. Your videos haven some brilliant tips. Great idea 💡💡💡 that's my lightbulb moment on some of your ideas
