In this video, you will learn how to create a realistic building destruction system with Chaos Destruction in Unreal Engine 5. You will use force dynamic switch of the master field to make the building collapse. You will spawn a chain of destroy anchor fields by overlapping them with other anchor fields. You will also learn how to use Break Events to trigger the destruction of windows and doors when the building parts are broken. You will add smoke effects to the building parts and explosion effects to the building. You will change the projectile speed and static mesh.

Bro it's possible to make a Fx though unreal for Deform metal ? or u perefer to do it in Houdini?

In unreal you can use skeletal mesh and control rig to deform the metal.

This is the last part. I'm trying to improve it by fracture with noise and add the rebar. If I figure it out, I'll make another part. What do you mean for holes from the buttons of the weapon?

@@doraz25 Play around with the size of the master field that spawn and add the anchor field to the place that you don't want to destroy. Make sure don't force dynamic switch on your master field. And the size of your fracture geometry collection small enough then you can get the hole on the wall. Don’t need to make a video. But if you can kindly write steps For a targeting system. what can I do to set the camera focus on the middle point between the player and enemy? I tried doing a lerp on my target system but can’t get it to work. Would greatly appreciate if you can write how you would set a target system where the camera focus on middle point between player and enemy.

Do you want to create the focus system of the camera sharpness at distance or the rotation of the camera to the enemy?

Best way to explain would be the way Red Dead Redemption 2 does there focus system. Not sure if you've seen their melee combat? I Believe they do rotation but i may be wrong.@@jourverse

I have gotten my player to rotate and look at the enemy. but when i strafe around him, at some angles or distances i lose complete site of the enemy. trying to fix that by setting middle point of them to be the focus. I believe thats how RDR2 does it@@jourverse

@@gil6970 To get rotation from your player to middle point of your enemy. First get unit vector from player to enemy ,then get distance between both of them divide by 2 and multiply with that unit vector. Convert vector to rotation. But this will get the result the same as look at enemy.
