Hope you feel better soon. Good job on the drinking water system 👏. Great idea! A water pitcher drinking system works as well. But it means daily refill. I was thinking to put a shower filter in the actual showerhead. Hard water is a nuisance for hair. Thanks guys.
The fear of storing too much water in "polytanks" is why I am looking into getting a pressurized tank system. Good information as usual, Kingsley! Get better soon.
Snagging means - the process of checking a new building for minor faults that need to be rectified. Periodic snagging, simply means doing it regularly throughout the build process and not leaving it all until the end. Many items are forgotten if left to the late. Gradual snagging is the best
Interesting subject. I wouldn't putting chlorine tablets into water tanks for fear of bacteria. From experience people rarely all ill from naturally occurring bacteria, they more likely to have adverse reaction to unnatural toxins.
Response from my installer below Lawrence: Algae doesn't normally occur in polytanks since their body is black. The black one can be used outside with no issues. Once sunlight can't penetrate, you are safe. It is the white or translucent one that is not advised for outdoor use, that one forms algae when used outside
@@kingstal90 in my old place, we had to clean tank occasionally. I've had to do it alone one-time. The tank was even partially shaded by a tree yet water was contaminated by algae. It was government water though. But just so that you know. I recommend you get a second or third opinion about cleaning your tank often or give it time and see it happen to yours.
@@aberba - Thanks. I agree, I will get a 2nd and 3rd opinion on that. Some of these artisans/companies can't be trusted, especially after they have been paid. Need to research more on that. Cheers
