Hi Pete Just a few observations, I was thinking that if you were to a a piece of the 40x40 angle iron to the front face of the grill angle irons, which tips from high left to low right this would catch any fats from the meats being grilled. I was also thinking that if you were to purchase a further paver you could split them both equally with a angle grinder& stone cutting disk so as to take up the missing 50 mm. I was also thinking that as you were concerned that if the pavers cracked whilst all was under heat, ! If you were to weld a full plate into & under the whole base, then you would not have any worries as if it did crack the pavers would be contained completely. I would ask that as you've obviously spent an extreme amount of monies on tools, that the most important next tool to purchase is a Tripod. Thanks for the videos, they are very entertaining. Regards
