I am glad to see someone else present a project in a prototype-y sort of state. It helps combat that notion that everything needs to be perfect or IS always perfect when making these sorts of devices/builds and associate videos. Thanks for keeping it real! Subbed!

For your premiere text, would a mogrt help you setup templates with the same color etc.. I haven't done any hardcore editing for a while but I remember you can use mogrt template and have very cool graphics that you can edit, some advanced mogrt require after effect while some can be done in premiere

For sure! And I missed that macrodeck can also run as a web client, so even an iPad could work although I don’t know if there would be a latency penalty. That being said, I still really like that it can function as a standalone display when needed

i used to use stream-pi, but the project has been dead for about a year (no new updates) also, half the promised features were never added, and half the features it does have, works half the time, if at all.. and on top of all of that, it's main developer left the project last year

I've got around five or six Android tablets just laying around, I can easily write my own software to control them _like_ a stream deck but what I really want are physical buttons with mini-displays on them. I'm thinking of cheating it by using transparent switches over an Android tablet. I just have to finish the other 8,932,234 projects I've started and never completed.
@JamesBuckleyusa

Because it places the cursor where you tab the screen, meaning if you are in game, or working you would always have to move the mouse backt to where it was before

They are sourcing these panels from China and slapping RGB lights along with higher price on them. You can get the same thing much cheaper if you don't need an RGB.
