For “fair” condition that thing is pretty clean. I’m about to order one for my berthier. Hopefully it looks as good as this one. If not then oh well. I still need the front band spring for mine lol
I was SO impressed with there stock because they touted it as being bad. It’s beautiful on my rifle. If you haven’t already go check out the pictures of it completed that I posted. I’m just using ye olde hose clamps for now because barrel bands are hard to come by. Saw a nose cap for $100 but think I can wait. I have to get the right middle barrel band to accommodate the fact that I want a handguard although it’s not “supposed” to have one.
@@BigBoyRabbit420 lmao I did. I was like is that a hose clamp as the video was playing saying it was 🤣 but I have one but missing the sling ring. Whoever had mine sanded it so much the butt plate is too big and then they plugged the butt sling swivel smh
That’s a very nice stock for 60 bucks. I’d never heard of Apex before. Just placed an order for a hand guard for my 1917 Enfield that I just got from RTI
Heck yea they are loaded with milsurp parts and actively get new stuff. These Berthier parts just became available this year. I’ve been hunting them off an on for a decade
Mf you bought my dream rifle I had been saving for a 1000$ one and when RTI put 500$ ones up I was so excited I was about to give my dad the money to buy it but everyone bought the last 2
@@NoahB-c4xthis one came from my personal storage facility. I decided sense I only had $50 in this one an a refit only costs $115 it would be a cheaper option. So I opted not to buy a risk rifle from RTI for $650 and just build my own. Go check out the post of this one completed enough to go to the range
@@NoahB-c4x oh believe me you wouldn’t want the 1917 I ended up with. My first fail with RTI really. No trace of rifling in the barrel left, so it’s going to need to be rebarreled.
Oh wow that’s awesome!!! We just tested out the Greek 8mm surplus an it’s amazing and cheeeeap you should get some for your new Hakim. Centerfire has the best deal I can find right now.
That’s true that’s one option. I just don’t know there is much of a call for bubba stocks lol I have thought about stripping them an selling the original metal components off them
I’m with you there an hated the fact bubba has destroyed so many. I’m thinking one option is to put them all in a box an use them to practice my stock repairs. If I screw up using a new technique I won’t be out anything and if I’m successful there will be a new complete stock on the market for somebody.
