I have a 05 kodiak lly, with the ryans diesel turbo. Gotta love that whistle. Do you have any idea if your intercooler is factory or not? If you could post a video of more of it, as it looks wayy thicker than the lly intercoolers. If you can, I'd recommend finding the stock airbox especially being in arizona. Those cone filters are no where near the size of the stock filters and the factory setup actually uses the cold air intake off the hood instead of just sucking hot air from the engine bay
Thank you I will look into sourcing a stock airbox! And as far as the intercooler ill check if its aftermarket. I did not change it but previous owner may have!
How are you liking your Ryan’s 64mm turbo for towing and heavy hauling? Looking for an upgrade but need something that stays cool and tows well. I had a 65mm wold and ended up going back to a stock turbo because it ran so hot and was laggy.
So far I haven't noticed any negative side affects. My original turbo needed replaced. Only have about 2k miles on it so far ill keep everyone updated.
Is it 4x4? If so you don’t have to do anything. If you buy the right wheels, Stazworks or another brand, they will bolt right on with no modifications. The 335/80/20 size tires fit no problem.
