That's terrible, oh no. Good job you spotted this early. Workmanship is important, you are right about getting some who knows how to install this type of flooring. I don't think it can be recycled if the moisture has gotten into the laminate floor. It will have to be disposed off. For replacement tiles you can use concrete floor tiles, or just plaster the floor and use a small carpet rag.

Hi Haven't been home in a while but check if building merchants sell damp proof paint for the damp issue. That might be a cheaper way to remedy the problem before you tile. So consider painting the floor with damp proof paint all the way up to a certain level of the walls. A good builder should be able to advise best product if available to use and if that would be appropriate for the issue but worth considering as an after fix.

Sorry about that. Hope you managed to fix the problem. But how did the termites infest your house? Wasn't anti-termite added to the concrete mix used when making the foundation/slab?

Aren’t Ceramic tiles a better option?

Too bad that happened when you had put the anti termite when putting the slab, just put tiles

Sad to hear about that… was your land treated before you built your foundation? Cause under normal circumstances that shouldn’t happen if your land was treated before building your foundation
