Adam Varley Hi The panels came from Montrocon nr Tadcaster 50mm on the outer walls and 30mm on the inner walls (made from 3mm fibreglass outers and foam inner) and yes the ali was all pre-extruded.. hope this helps
hello DAVE, been studying your vids with great interest and its giving me a lot of confidence to do something similar, can i ask about the doors and windows you used ,and also the panels you ordered from montracon ,where they supplied to your measurements or do they supply just big 50mm panels and you have to cut them ? thanks very much for your time
Hi and thanks. Yes the panels came from Montracon. We ordered them to the exact length and then i did the additional cuts (like the 45’s) The panels for the internal walls which are made from a 30mm panel, I calculated the lineal meterage and just got them in one large sheet and cut as i needed them. The habitation door is from a motorhome, try searching for Hartal. These door are okay as far as camper doors go! Windows (Seitz) are again made for campers etc, nice and lightweight especially if you’re trying to keep the weight down! However they do have problems! The security is questionable, condensation problems, The stays on the larger windows will not hold the window open and to top things off there expensive with zero manufacture after-care! if weight isn’t a problem maybe look at double glazed with an aftermarket roller blind. Hope this helps
Survice metals from Leeds provided all the extrusions, 60mm s/steel bolts at around 250mm centres using grip nuts & 40x40 aluminium angle on the inside. Internal walls are used angle and epoxy resin. Hope this helps
Whats that coming over the hill is it a Monster, is it a Monsterrrr.... Did Carlsburg have anything to do with helping you? ... Bcos thats probably the best Tonka Camper Truck in the world 💪
Great video again. Really liked that one n thought you should do lessons learned what went wrong \ right. Also, how much did it cost Vs an equivalent bought camper?
