Building Playlists in Virtual DJ Using Crate Hackers (EASY!) //// Creating playlists in Virtual DJ is a pretty easy process. Load songs in the automix window and hit save.
But creating specially curated playlists that are specific to genre and event type is a whole other process that takes time, research and a lot of music knowledge. Luckily there is an application called Crate Hackers that helps with that. Crate Hackers is a playlist pool that offers its members access to 100s of playlists. And every one one of those syncs with your music database and, more importantly, with Virtual DJ.

Thank you for this! Virtual DJ doesn't seem to get much love but it's my chosen platform and I value any info that will improve my performance with it. I'm subscribed as of now and look forward to digging thru the archives and leveling up my game. Thank you again!!!!!!!

Event prep made EASY for sure!! It's awesome!!! Can't wait till fully switched over to new Mac so I can use it on the reg!!

The switchover .. always a fun/stressful time. Are you also using CH with Virtual DJ?

@@djkanoya Yup, super stressful!!! Plus also migrating crate organization from iTunes to VDJ, so there's that fun stress too! haha! With my current PC set up, I can't utilize CH w/my VDJ unless I update everything, which there's no point in doing since I'm finally moving over to Mac. Once I fully switch over I'll be using CH with VDJ for sure!! Right now I'm just playing around with it & so far I'm IN LOVE :-)
