always have a HDD backup of your music and each VDJ database folder for the drive. when you copy them back accoss to a new laptop VDJ will see everything no problem.
Great, but why not only keep it as a virtual folder database repeats the process on a new laptop. in this case you will have duplicates of original track and the new copy of the new folder
Because that doesn't always happen the way it's supposed to. A few years ago, all of the metadata that store that stuff corrupted and I had to rebuild everything from scratch and that when I discovered this little hack.
Can I get all the database backup without creating any playlist folder? Using Vdj 2020 from last 2 years and Now installed new 2023 version and now in vdj2023 I lots all musictag ,BPM, cuq points etc from main Drive folder (not useing Playlist)
Creating different folders with duplicate songs is just a real mess. Having multiple copies of one track with different cue points is worse than having 3000 tracks in one "music" folder.
Thanks for this. Does the virtual folder contain duplicates of the actual tracks -- or just a link to the files in your 'main' Music folder (the one with 2000 tracks in it)?
If i understand what u're asking, the answer is no. There are no duplicates being created and if u already added a track in the V-Folder, there won't be another of the same in the virtual folders as said. Tracks in virtual are literal shortcuts to the original tracks and nothing more. Adding 100 of the same track in virtual folders won't give u 100 duplicates.
Gracias por tu video colega esta precioso y estos video son bonitos para nuestros a amigos lo que quieren a prender y no es lo mismo ver como ihr ala escuela
Bro don't pirate the software. If you can't afford the full version, you can pay $19/month to subscribe to it until you get the money to pay for the full version.
