Building the 1/35 Trumpeter models E100 super heavy tank 

A part of me wishes that a billionaire would build one of these from the existing blueprints just to show what it would’ve looked like, maybe have it at a tank museum

Always a pleasure to watch these videos. I'm definitely looking forward to the Maus build. These videos are both really nice for general relaxed viewing but also a good source of knowledge and I love that you give information about the vehicles as you build them. If my local hobby store wasn't such a let-down I'd probably be doing this hobby, but sadly there are only 3 (yep, 3) WW2 vehicle kits in store.

I built this kit around January. didn't find your air bubble problem but did find some pretty major flash on the outside half of the sprocket. great build by the way, and I'm looking forward to seeing the Maus.

As we can see, it is not the part count that makes a nice model. It is the proper build and the painting and weathering. Having said that, nice job Andy and thanks for sharing. I am looking forward for more videos of yours to come.

Very nice build and video.

Just finished my version of the E-100. The number of parts is actually just over 200. Painted mine like the one in the vedio. This is a nice kit and if you have one in your stash, break it out and build it and use your imagination.

Nice build as always Andy! Those tracks turned out great, i'd leave those on, and save the the frul tracks for the Jagdpanzer, if you build it (Hint hint!, nudge nudge!). Cheers!

2 suggestions: 1) Look at some final production Panzer IV J and Panther G pictures: often, the Red Oxide Primer was used as the base coat of the classic 3 color German camo, and the "Ambush" scheme. 2) If Trumpeter (Or anyone Else) leaves the vision blocks open spaces, I use clear blister pack plastic to scratch build the transparency.

Hi Andy. Love your videos. I was wondering if you could maybe do a Bf 109 or Fw 190 full build. I have been building armour models for many, many years ( I even used to drive a Leopard main battle tank for a living for a while) but I am trying to do some plane models but so far they have turned out terrible. So any tips and help would be appreciated. Take care.

Oh, how the Germans dreamed, four man squad in a Swimwagon with Panzerfausts would have done more damage to enemy tank columns than four of these (beautiful) beasts. Great build, and a great looking model, of what in real life was just s fantasy tank.

Just bought this model online. And for the record it think the E100 looks alot better with style of turret. Looks alot better than wargamings E100.

Andy I found a way to attach the side fenders without glue. I glued .60 diameter dowel rod into the circular openings on the attachment points on the fenders . Left about a 16th of an inch protruding and now they attach by just pressing them on.

Sweet looking build, the British had the completed hull ( mostly ) on somewhat of an outside display from the pictures I've seen. Sadly they scrapped it some years later.

Andy,First time I've seen the Camo painting via Airbrush. VERY nice....and so much better than the old stencil or masking nonsense.Something you didn't show is how you were able to match the turret to the shell so well. It is not perfectly aligned, but close and looks very nice.Any hints?Thanks as always. Going to get started back into this next week. Merkava next week. Plastruct cement for ABS plastic often works well, at least on Tamiya vinyl tracks.

I know I'm late to the party with this one, and WWII German is not my usual "bag" , but I am seriously considering this one having watched the video!

Amazing work! I would add some weather effects on front cuz it looks too plain. Nice choice with the model. Whitch airbrush and compresor would you recommend for begginers? Can't wait for your next videos!

I dont know if you ever went back and added Fruil tracks to this. I just got mine from you yesterday 4/4/2020. They are pretty intense. 1 solid link then 3 pieces for the next. 4 pieces to make a pivot. My first set of Fruils too.

Yes gun barrel came from the factory in heat resint grey paint.

could you explain the buff coat? or how did you call that last paint coat?
