Always new inspiration from every video you make. I love your openness to try new techniques. I meant to build this kit with Hungarian markings and ended up accidentally buying a decal set for an F model, so I built the Fine Molds kit instead. Also an excellent build!

Wanting to get back into modelling after (cough) 40 years, I've recently been agonizing over which is the best method to build. Whether to build the whole kit in one go and paint it when complete - stressing about the hard to reach parts... Build it in stages, painting certain areas as you go along putting parts together, breaking the rhythm of construction...Or painting some parts separately/on the sprue and only gluing them on later in the build or upon the final painting. It also comes down to personal preferences, skill level or necessity, as there are many ways to put together a kit, but I can see that the second option is probably the way to go for someone in my position who hasn't yet honed their skills enough. So I suppose I should get all the paint equipment before I dare touch any of the kits I have bought that are now taunting me! Edit: Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year - to you all. And thanks for sharing your skills and love of modelling.

Nicely done. Tamiya decals are always a bit on the thick side. I have found multiple coats of X-22 can get the carrier film to disappear. Sometimes work backwards to semi-gloss then back to X-35 flat. Probably just easier to get aftermarket decals.
