I have the 4.3 in my 02 Chev Astro work van. It has almost 250 000 miles on it now. Runs like a champ. Never misses a beat. Those were a very good set up. The later ones could have some fuel injection issues with the spider. Generally speaking, a really good engine.

Had a 2000 blazer with the 4.3. It had a little over 500,000 miles when I traded it off 5 years ago and still ran good back then. It loved fuel pumps however. Forgot how many I had to change over the timespan that I owned it.
My first work truck was a 98 s-10. I loved that little truck and was a little bummed when I got a promotion since they put me in a new 05 Silverado that I couldn’t beat on. Once this thing is mine, I’ll cherish it like that old beater…and just treat it like a truck

Probably need to start adding an electric cut switch to your builds so one doesn’t go missing. I’ve got a hidden keyed electric switch on my ‘46 with a hidden 2 step starter switch. The starter switch won’t work unless the power is on and the keyed electric switch is mounted on the solid steel wrap around seat riser, which can’t be accessed (connections) unless you completely remove the seat out of the truck. My shit ain’t go’in nowhere unless someone tows it.

Dang I know I should have watched this video when I seen it drop. :( the sticker is sold out already. This truck is literally a build I've wanted to do for years but couldn't afford to do. But on the upside I got motivation to do more to my 69 C10 after watching your video of yours (but hell no I'm not chopping it up lol, I love the long bed 😁) I just need to get a cam kit and some little parts and fix the driver side bed corner where I got hit.

You know as well as I know that if you can't find the leak then it's probably going into the oil (blown head gasket, cracked head) doesn't look good for the drivetrain in that truck, i won't mention the transmission again but I'd still love to own her
