And that’s the ticket isn’t it; patience and time.....LOTS of time, and the PE fleshes out the model. I used a drill of the island to give inspiration as I plow through the PE on the Liberty, as in: ‘just keep going and it will look good like this one does’. I’m actually using pieces of PE fret to make ledges and add depth to Hull areas like scuppers. Just painted over and probably never seen. But I think it’s the collective mass of the PE detail that creates a detailed “feel” of the model at this scale. Rather than actually seeing the rivets around a hatch combing its the overall affect. I wish they made this in 1/200
