Sure is a nice looking boat I’m a retired woodworker who has owned 17or 18. Boats afar i did a complete restoration on a 1964 Chris Craft Constellation Wooden Cabin Cruiser and have always hoped to build my own Wooden boat at some point in my 40s i suffered a series of Strokes that has caused me some paralysis so i know if i was ever to do one a kit would be my best bet at this time in life I’m between homes and Shops in reality was this kit pretty complete or did you have to fabricate many parts yourself ? I’m kind of thinking about Fabricating copies of the framing in a effort to build one. Like yours and the other in Cedar Strips as i really like that look as well of course I’m really just a Sucker for all Wood grains and boats in general as i grew up in South Florida and i bought my first boat at 17 years of age a 21 foot Finerglass hull that needed new floors glassed in which was the easy part for me at that time that boat was a design by the same man responsible for The Mako and the Iconic Carolina Flair in the bow I honestly wish i still had that as it was a early 1970s hull when they were still over engineering Fiberglass hulls and everything was hand laid before Chopper Guns were invented to save money and build faster in molds that boat was a true quater inch thick hull and didnt have any stress cracks like new boats get which ive seen in half Million Dollar Fiberglss boats that were much newer ! Including the big names i was also a faithful Subscriber and reader of Wooden Boat Magazine and ive read just about any Wooden Boat book i could get my hands on some i understood and some i did not LOL i could tell by your tools and shop you aren’t a novice Woodworker Yet I’m curious to know how you rate The Glen L kit overall to build , understand. The directions. Etc And how they were to work with from customer Support and packaging did you order right off their Website or go through a middle man
