I think a good way to reduce the backlog of vehicles in London would be to encourage folks to use the public transport. Therefore, upgrading the roads where the bus routes are to roads with dedicated bus lanes (you see the option when you select a road type on the bottom-right corner), would be a sensible option. Buses won't get stuck in traffic, and are thus the faster option, encouraging folks to take the bus, which would in turn reduce the amount of cars as well :) Turning off traffic lights on the intersections of your bus routes helps as well.

tbh transport fever 2 and cities skylines 2 should merge to create a great game

Going to say it again...to avoid Your vehicles getting stuck inside cities, You NEED to BUILD bus lanes...

Just to let you know, you can switch the direction of a one way road quickly by pressing the upgrade tool next to the curved and straight road tool, and then you can right click the one way road to switch directions :)

Maybe some bus routes between cities to keep people out of their cars? Very entertaining, sir! Not going to lie though, my computer broke and only seeing this game like one a week is breaking my soul lol

Try looking at the EMUs and DMUs when upgrading your trains. They’re cheaper than loco hauled carriages. Also use bus lanes to prioritize public transport in cities.

Is there not an underground metro you could implement in London? 👀

To get more trains use multiple units. They’re cheaper, perform well and have a good capacity

I would have gone for 3 lanes straight away. but it may be too expensive. You could consider connecting reading to the new 2*2 road where you have the food lines. and connecting somewhere else into london to allow the cars going another way than your line. For the next passenger train, I would branch off the lodon main station towards norwich. should not be too much of an HS2 to put in place ...

Is it me, you seemed to have destroyed a lot of small roads when building the M25 but did not repair the links that you destroyed. Or maybe you did and I didn't notice.

Seniac Landon is ur biggest city check to see the other growth

Your traffic problems are because of your cargo and bus placement because there in a busy spot it holds up more traffic with all the frequent stops.

You should add boats connecting up London with other places so people don’t use the roads in the city centre

When editing a vehicle, below where the layout of the carriages are , it says how much per vehicle.

You should consider intersections spacing and traffic lights in london these are the reasons of backing up. + I would connect the cities to the M25 rather than straight through to london.

Those roada look terible if they were in cities skylines but for transport fever 2 they're very good
