- If you're fighting the NG+ Boss, prob change the Repels to Absorbs via Skill Cards - It's come to attention that some people are getting different results from some of the fusions. It seems that in P4G, if the Personas you're using are at higher levels, it can change the end result in fusion. So if you're having a problem, maybe try to fuse again with Personas around the same level I did. Not a lot I can do about it as everyone has different level stuff in their compendium!
Concerning that: While it has been some time for me I think I understand how it actually works. Instead of creating a new persona by PersonaNr1 + PersonaNr2 = PersonaNr3 it is determined by Arcana and Levels. Example for Normal (2 Personas fusion): It is not to be seen as Obariyon (Fool) + Ose (Fool) = Legion (Fool) but rather (Fool Lv. 13 + Fool Lv. 31) ÷ 2 = Fool Lv. 44 ÷ 2 = Fool Lv. 22 The next nearest Fool to 22 is Lv. 21 Legion. For Triple reverse Fusion I am not 100% certain how it works but it works similarly. Most important is that if one checks fusion calculators that the persona with the highest level on the calculator page is also the highest level in your persona list out of the 3 you want to combine.
Its actually better to get unshaken will skill card from Asura instead of insta heal but overall its crazy you managed to find the fusion paths for this build
Unshaken Will has its pros but in P4G not many ailments pose a significant threat. With Insta-Heal you save yourself from rare one-shots + the rare case that you actually die from a combination with an ailment.
@@Prismark I'm not sure I get this. What advantage is there in shortening ailments as opposed to preventing them entirely? Does Insta-heal have some utility that Unshaken Will doesn't? Is it because some enemies ignore ailment immunities? I've noticed that Shadow Kanji can set Poison despite the presence of Null Poison for example. Is that why? When you say rare one-shot/combination are you talking about things like Fear + Ghastly Wail or Yukiko's Terror Voice + Shivering Rondo?
@@AlmattyYes, the "leaky defense" part is one of the main reasons why Unshaken Will, while still a good choice, isn't totally optimal. With Insta-Heal, you can bounce back from a lot of out-of-nowhere, zero to dead attacks and can shorten ailments, which isn't as good as prevention of them, but it works for ALL ailments from ALL sources rather than having weaknesses. Combined with the utility of bouncing back from heavy burst damage in situations where you'd otherwise be screwed, Insta-Heal just has way more flexibility in its use. Unshaken does one thing, pretty well, but offers up no other real benefits.
Quick tip: if ride around your motor cycle enough you can access the beach. Gaze out into the sea and you learn skills early. Helped out when fusing him! Thanks alot for the tutorial btw
some time in June. its after you rescue kanji but its been a while and thats all I can remember. You also need to take the motorcyle out on long rides 5 times to access it@@ahsanzrdn
I really like this format. Are used to watch a Videos a lot, but it was difficult for me to read the text. Now I understand you clearly. I really appreciate it. Keep it up.
@@gonzoss3998 Yes! If you can somehow fuse it into him you’d basically be applying double party wide heat riser using my Yoshitsune build for the fact that you get those auto buffs and u debilitate…. Lets say Mitsuo’s boss baby gonna die in 3-4 Hassou Tobi’s rotations on Very Hard Difficulty not even including powercharge! He can be really op if u fuse that for sure Edit: to get the party wide auto-heatriser build I had to redo Yoshitsune a lot, tacked on another 20+ hours or so
@@nukesakuukasekun9050 Woah! That's great, congrats! I have a triple auto dedicated Persona already. But I mean, do I need debilitate on Yoshitsune if I already have it on another Persona?
@@gonzoss3998 I see what you mean. Well in that case since it takes an entire turn to cast a buff/debuff on yourself/enemies I think it would be optimal for Yoshitsune. It’s 3 turns worth of increased Hassou Tobi damage so I’m inclined to agree! But since you already have another persona you could just cast it on that specific persona and switch to yoshitsune to do a skill, so it depends on whether or not you want to add an extra step or not. I have trumpeter cast debi on boss, then switch to my auto-riser Yoshitsune and decimate.
What level are your Personas? Apparently levels can affect fusion results in P4G, which I wasn't aware of. If some of the Personas are too highly levelled, it may skew the results
@@bainz Yeah I went and got a base level Hua Po and using that gave me a Hachiman. It's really tricky to use the calculator for fusions since most of the personas in my compendium are higher level than their base.
It's nice to hear you use your voice more! I will admit that hearing your voice is kinda jarring after reading subtitles for so long but I still like it!
Bro change that apd pupil for some charge/focus Edit: i forgot to say why. Starting off, i think all immune yoshitsune is a waste but if you really want to do it then you have more than enough turns to set up charge/debilitate which will be a lot better than a increased critical chance. I don't mention heat riser because with the correct party you can set all three major buffs for the whole party in one turn
you can have a different persona (like the trumpeter he made in another video) that can do charge and debilitate. In this way you maximize the damage output of yoshitzune.
@@ilse_22 you can do that but it would only work for the first few turns. I was referring about the rest of persona users. I think Chie, Josuke and Kanji are the one to get the attack, agility and defense party wide buff respectively. Maybe Teddi gets a party wide buff on top of the heals but I don't remember which one. I prefer a to have a immune trumpeter for the buff anyway but play however you like
@@MrGius46 I think switching to another persona kinda defeats the point of an immune all Yoshitsune. Also remember that AoE have a lower base critical chance so you aren't getting as much benefit if you plan to spam Hassou Tobi
@@odbp1112 well you are wasting yoshitsune's potential with the most broken move in the game. Ok. Spoiler: you can have other personas with all immunity it's not a problem, and it's needed for the challenge battle on Ng+. You can put charge in any other persona you want.
I think i fucked up, i couldnt fuse Michael, Hua Po, and Attavaka to Make Hachiman so i lost out on the Repel Dark, ill probably get them from Skill Cards
For some reason, I was really excited for this that I forgot that this is Golden. I'm having a hard time fusing this as I'm playing in an emulator so I'm playing the PS2 version., I cannot choose skills. SAD
I need to be spoonfed. somebody tell me where exactly to get each person / where to get every persona needed to fuse the ones that cant be found during shuffle time pls ty ily
You can probably do a lot better than Repel Fire and Insta-Heal. He's already resistant to fire so you are better off adding something like Victory Cry, Power charge or get one of the severe spells so it is a valid Persona VS NULL PHYS opponents.
Keep charge, get rid of apt pupil as 5% critc to 10% won't matter that much. (all hits on his special are caculated right at the start) As you are always now Repelling all his weaknesses if you fight Margaret with this, she will instant megidoloan on you. She needs to be able to hit you, or else she just starts to cheat. So you change repel fire to something else as well, regen 3 or heat riser probably will work nicely.
@@bainz I found my problem. My Cu Chulainn was way too high level than what was presented in your video. I didn't know that the levels can also affect the outcome as well.
