10x5 use with 1400kv on 3 cell only or 980kv on 3 or 4 cell ( these are more efficient but not as snappy for aerobatics. They are very good in the wind)

Motors
High end (at least for me) sorry these are hard to get. I have made these very popular.
Sunnysky 2212 1400kv use 8x4.5 prop on 3 or 4 cell or 10x5 on 3 cell.
USA dealer when he has them www.buddyrc.com...
Ebay also has them

Sunnysky 2212 980kv use 10x5 with 4 cell pack. These give 10 to 15% more flight time with slightly reduced power. They have enough power to fly on 3 cell but if loaded with fpv gear then use 4 cell.

for Vtail you will need 1 foot of red and black 14 gauge wire and 9 feet of 18 gauge wire for esc extension. For tri and t copter the same but 7 feet of 18 gauge is fine.
As far as batteries go i like the hobbyking compact zippy.
And the Glacier batteries from Buddyrc
