Part 2 of my Tomicarama setup, this time the Yokohama Tire Shop set, plus one more Diocolle 64 set. Mix in the July release and we are set up. Find all these at Japan Booster:

I finally received the Yokohama tire shop after being delayed on the shipping due to The coronavirus. The parts that you were wondering are the shelves for the tires outside and at the garage. You will have to glue them. Mine is already assembled and on display.

I have that Yokohama diorama, I definitely recommend getting the Bridgestone one if you missed out on the Yokohama one.

Those Toyota HiAce Vans were early 90's vehicles. they showed up alot in the Caribbean as reonditioned vehicles. Those in particular were used as taxis and as minibuses. Some are still on the road in 2020 and in great condition.

The Hiace was a very popular car for larger families in Australia in the 80’s. Today’s models are used more by tradesmen with the windows on the back sides replaced by panelling. Awesome model Tomica have made there...right down to the colour of the paint work and interior.

Love the story of the kids. Dad might be in the Yokohama shop working while mom has the van. The Hiace is a popular van right here in the Philippines not only as a family cruiser but also as a mini bus for commuters in and around Metro Manila. Really like these outdoor setup, gives more of a natural feel especially the TLVs that are so realistic😁🇵🇭

I hope that the Tomica basic die-cast come back to Walmart, soon. I miss seeing the Tomica brand and I want to get more Tomica models.

The Yokohama Tire Shop looks good, the opening doors are a really nice touch. Mazda E2000 and Toyota HIACE Wagon have superb details as you'd expect from TLV. The sis better not touch that paint on the Honda Civic :) Thanks for showing these.

im really waiting for my hiace. the 2.4 is.the engine diesel and its the 90s. the 2000s version is coming in november

It's a shame they cant do vintage hot rods and muscle cars to this level of detail. I'd definitely buy if they did. That tire center was crazy detailed. Wish I had 200.00 to blow

Chris Buchaniec Muscle cars seem to be the specialty of Auto World and they should also be true 1/64. They also cost way less than TLV.

Kyle Soler True, you sacrifice the suspension, grill molded with the body and mostly painted headlights but for the price I think the amount of detail is still pretty good.

Could you tell me what brand model that Ferrari BB 512 is? Is that a Tomica? Looks like a beautiful model. Also does that brand to other Ferrari’s? I tried looking it up but the ones I saw didn’t look as good as that one you put on the lift.

sometime I don't understand why is TLV much more expansive but most of it doesn't have opening parts?

munchy Wu You are correct and I felt the same when I first started collecting but the funny thing is their value goes up due to demands. My thinking is they are originally targeted for domestic market (notice most of the info on the package is in Japanese) or within Asia and the market is small. The quality on these are way better than M2 in terms of premium level. The wheels, grill etc are very accurate to the 1:1 car so even the same model within the same generation will vary on every model year.

Please stop explaining to people that these regular JDMs are cool too! If they can't get it, then they don't deserve to add them into their collections. I'm so glad that TLV/TLVN actually do obscure Japanese vehicles that we who love JDMs understand and love. If they don't get it, HWs and Matchbox and others still make "toys" for those who can't relate. Also, on the front of the boxes, the vans are listed as '92 for 1992 MY. Cheers!
