I received my monthly shipment sir and I was not disappointed, I didn't get all 12, the bus is just too much, I passed on a little white truck but I don't know why, and the two wagons. I did pick up all of the others, and they sure do look good in the wall case.
can google up the red 412, it does look nice in red but i have to say the non traditional red colours look better for the 412. can't really get over the TLV 412 with the painted headlights, its just strange lol TLV trucks are always nice i have to say
@@misterpacha1 matchbox like hot wheels are made to fit the 3 inch blister so range from 1:70 to 1:55. But are also considered 1/64. But matchbox are not always accurate.
the ferrari 412 was released in red. bit puzzled why the TLV version has painted headlights, the casting itself looks great but would have been so much better with plastic inserts for the lights. have to say with the Blue Gloria from the august batch had a really nice paint finish.
The Chaser was not offered for sale outside of Japan. The 3.0 Avante G is a more luxury oriented model hence the wheels with a 3.0 litre NA 2JZ-GE engine. The Chaser was based on the Mark II platform and was supposed to be a high performance equivalent of the luxurious Mark II. The use of painted headlights and glue on parts is a real shame on the Ferrari 412 which highlights that the model is overpriced. The could've easily used plastic parts and assemble the parts in their factory but they choose not to do so for unknown reasons. Majority of the customer base is not making models and they should realise that by now. The fitment of the front bumper could be better on the 180SX and plastic parts could easily have been used for the fog lights as seen on other brands. TLV should acknowledge that all cars come with brakes which most of their models don't have and also side mirrors which majority of the models are missing on the Limited Vintage line and a few on the Limited Vintage Neo line if they care about accuracy.
Just to inform your good self, regarding the Toyota Chaser Avante G. The "3.0" refers to its real life engine size which is a 3 Litre capacity model :-)))
You got it! To as in Tokyo and Kai as in kite. Japanese is monotone so say it straight TO KAI. Bus is a foreign word in Japan and in Japanese spelled basu. It is pronounced Ba as in bot and su as in Sue. TOKAI BASU:)
I'll probably pick up the blue wagon even if the wheels look different than the box art. The 412s look weak with painted lights and no mirrors installed; that's the same effort as an AutoWorld. TLV shouldn't illustrate mirrors on boxes if they aren't on the model; it's misleading.
lol i think your the first one to comment about the box art, although TLV is made by a different company if you look through Tomica Premium and standard Tomica (not all boxes) they have box art with cars with the side mirrors, even hot wheels basic show cars with side mirrors yet a fair few don't have side mirrors, same some autoworld they show mirrors on the card but a few of the cars don't have side mirrors with the 412, the painted lights definitely do ruin the casting, black version makes the painted lights a little but too much. overall imo besides the painted lights i find the castings much better than a Autoworld
@@hanyue6174 Agree, Auto World castings are not as tight especially the hood gaps. Seems most brands lie about the innacurate artwork but on a cheaper model its expected. If a $12 MiniGT can have mirrors and plastic lights then anything over that price should too.
@@smallmodelcollector speaking about hood gaps, i actually was pretty impressed by TLVs Ferrari Daytona but overall i think TLV does a pretty decent job with the opening parts. F40 as i mentioned in one of your videos the hinges seemed a tad large, but yeah today i actually decided i won't be getting a TLV 412, i can deal with no mirrors but the painted headlights was a bit of a trivial move by Tomytec. Same deal with the F355, bought the Spyder but didn't bother with the Hardtop due to the inaccurate rims hahah
So I’m getting the impression you have to order these online and aren’t sold in stores in the United States? Not even a hobby store? I mean I guess it’s all written in Japanese 😅 so probably not.
