This will be interesting to see. The trackhawk ride height allows for the front dif and axels to travel under the oil pan. While on all the awd chargers and 300’s the dif is attached to the oil pan and the driver side axel travels through the oil pan (Chrysler engineering 🙃). Also the the front driveshafts are on opposite sides which will be an issue for the transfer case. Charger and the 300 has the front driveshaft on the passenger side. These all are reasons why I think Junkyard Dave took the route he did and built a custom tube subframe. However I really hope you pull this off without going the tube subframe route.
You ever see the custom junkyard dave I think it was did? Custom srt magnum charger awd I think thing? Personally I respect the hell outta both yall for being true to what yall want, and building awesome vehicles. Mad respect from 757VA
i have a AWD 300S and i always wanted someone to try this. I know it will be a big job but it will be well worth it. 1000lbs light too compared to the jeep so this will be a rocket!
NO ONE, n i mean NO ONE build 300’s better than khal. there’s plenty of clean builds but none has that same quality that your have and that same 1 of 1 factor. can’t wait to see how this comes out.
How's that build going? I guess great minds think alike I'm doing the same thing a 2017 chrysler to a 2018 trackhawk have u had any issues? I'd appreciate any obstacles u have encountered and what you did to mitigate it? Thanks
I wanted to do this with my rt awd magnum but I didn’t know much about cars then AND the awd system was trash. I know u be doing the shits so imma take notes and hopefully be able to do it myself someday
Not really. He's changing out all the electrical components including the wire harness. The 300 will be just a piece of frame before he actually starts putting stuff on it, so he's basically starting from scratch.
The engine in the 300 more than likely is Hydro locked pull the spark plugs out and check most of the time. Once you get the water out change the oil engine is fine.
The engine is hydro locked with water in the combustion chamber, typically with flood vehicles you pull the spark plugs and fill the cylinders with wd40 or something to displace the water then work the crank back and forth then turn it over with the plugs out otherwise you’ll bend a rod
Its all luv my dawgg take yo time no rush make sho its right & have the blue print for this build down to the T like the rest of the builds you do because you know people gone want something this done but salute though 🫡🫡🫡🫡💯💯💯💯
