Building this ultimate Overland Camper from an ex-army Land Rover Series 2A 109 was special 

The best Land Rover I ever rebuilt was this 1968 Series 2A 109. This ex-army Landy was in a sorry state when I received it from the SANDF. It was chassis was full of botched chequer plate repairs, the engine didn't turn and it was incomplete. But with determination ingenuity and persistence, I turned it into a capable and comfortable overlanding vehicle that did many trips. In this video I show this Land Rover build from start to finish and some of the trips that we went on.
