Having a locomotive at each end would additionally mean that if you break down, you can use the other to take it to a water tower

So something I found out, if you unload logs (cordwood, lumber, and beams if the platform is any indication) at a firewood depot, you get paid for that too! Just put a firewood depot at the logging camp and sawmill, eliminate the trip back to the freight depot!

You can name your engines and change their numbers before you buy them! In the menu you can flip through headlamps and funnels and change names, numbers, and on the tender engines even have a company name on the tender! Betsy no.1 and Billfold no. 2? Have a 2 way train of them Just sounds cute to me :]

I was planing on looping my track around the logging are with a cross section then going all the way to the saw mill then reconnecting with the main track to home base saves on trac and saves on building It would be very helpful if the game devs added straight piece tracks and curve tracks maybe even angled crossing tracks cause IRL I saw a lt of those

Dont use two engines per train. Just push empties and pull the full cars. So just put Betsy on the opposite end of what you where doing.

Do not buy the eureka! especially if betsy isnt able to get up there. only if besty can get you over the hill should you buy the eureka. if not get the tier 4 loco.

This game is fun to watch , but i hated the game play . I refunded it within the 2 hours on Steam. I am not a fan of Steam Loco's. if they ever add Diesel or mods , then maybe i can come back and buy it again. Yes , i am well aware that this game is not made for Diesel Loco's.
