Are there certain GOOD places where a player should definitely build a base or it doesn't matter??? I am thinking , you used an existing garage... but what if you use a police station as a base etc...can you use them or not??? Or maybe you use something that is high up .... Or maybe to use a factory as a base where loot spawns inside too ??? or maybe a super market ? Or is it better to build your own base from zero ?? I'm new to this game so in order not to waste time i am asking for some pointers, what to focus on what not, what to do and what not to do.

yes you can make any building a base but location does matter. you want to be careful where you put the base because zombie will respawn. locations i like are near some kind or resource like a pond to fish in or near a deer spawning area. there are some self storage place here and there on the map and i found them to be easy to defend. Bottom line you can build anyplace with the right defense in place ;) hope my rambling helps lol thanks for watching and good luck on the base!@@tanelviil9149

its been gaining a lot lately we play daily on my dedicated server. come by on a live stream we have a active group of players. you can hop on with us :) or i have a discord channel to help find a group to play with . some real good updates are on the way soon and the hype should bring in another wave of players.

well if u dont have it build yest u can use a saw to covert a log into woods

Yes that would be great maybe once they get it updated a bit more they add it. It has partial controller support so far. Great devs I’m sure it will at some point :)

As far as I can tell the grass stays I think that’s just a bug that they haven’t worked out yet. And as far as the zombies go, I think they do come back. Hopefully in a patch will add some thing like seven days to die. Were they have a claim block you can put down and the zombies won’t spawn in the area.

haha good point, no time to be picky when the zombies are looking for you. we found a spot last night on the live stream that has a ton of potential for a great base. I'm going to make a short about it today to show everyone where it is.

the map is 1k and the full release map will be 16K... HUGE should be a lot of fun exploring a map that size. i thought i responded to you right away lol i must of not hit reply last time :) thanks for watching hope your enjoying the game too!

its random where they pop up for now im hoping they add it as a drop from mining later. (as far as i know) if i find a better way ill post on here i get a lot of great tips from viewers in the daily live gameplay I've been doing. if you find a good spot come back and let us know :) ill pass it on to everyone :) happy gaming !

Yes it does but I’m not sure how far away it covers

they are very similar the only real difference is humanitz has co-op i think humanitz plays great and maybe has a bit better animations but if you like zomboid you will like this one too no doubt. oh and you can co-op with friends too :)

@@major-skull-gaming zomboid has co op to and its better, and the animations in PZ are very detailed and polished... With some animation mods u can feel like ur character is more alive, now i know this game is in early access and i can't wait for the devs to give the game some love but for the moment the melle combat is buggy and some parts of the game lack attention.... The game will be great in sure, PZ is 10+ yrs old so there's a beginning to everything🥴

Yeah they can be tricky. They can be found about any place but they mostly are in the garages or in a car. There is a hardware store in E3 that normally has them. Once you have 10 you can make a workbench and make your own with scrap

They are updating the game about 1 time a week and they added the ability for the AI to open doors like a week or so ago. Not sure why. But I’m sure soon there will be a way to lock the doors We call in like 7 traders at once and most of them stay at the gate but some come in too lol. Haven’t had a bandit open the door yet for me. On a positive note if a horde or bandit raid happens and the traders are there they help you fight the bandits or zombies too

I love how they are evolving the game and how much it keeps changing. I want to jump from single player to co-op and find a good RP server

they have started work on dedicated servers soon as that is ready you will find a lot of servers like that ill be running 1 or 2 servers once they have it ready. we play community style game coop daily too. not RP but anyone is welcome to come by and play with us. normally on at 6pm EST but Monday and Tuesday at 11 AM and today ill be starting it around 3pm i wanted to start at 1 but i have a few things i need to do first. stop by its a great community @@WalkingKorpseEnt​

survival for now it is early access and there is a mode they haven't unlocked yet that looks like it will be fun. it has co-op tough. i am going to do a community game night im going to set up a poll to see what would be a good time to stream for everyone . hope to see you there!

Press B to go into build mode then while you hold the log highlighting the thing your adding it to press F
