I’m going to give this to my best friend Steve. I took him out fishing one time and not that long into the day, he got a bite and said I think I have a fish! And I said well do you? And it kept tugging. He said yea I think I do so I just said reel it in reel it in! And he had a really good time that day.

My son just caught his first bass at age 6 and he was so excited he legitimately couldn’t speak!!! I’d love to give it to him and I’ll even add his very first bait caster to the lot. He refuses to use a spinning reel because he “wants to use what daddy uses”. Idk how early and how easily most anglers start to use casting gear but I bet he could challenge anyone his age. His first cast was damn near perfect and I was then legitimately speechless myself. The video is awesome and I can’t wait to see how he does with it next time we go out on the water.

You are the best man. Always amazing content. I hadn’t fished since I lost my Grandpa in 8th grade. I am 49now and was finally able to go two summers ago with my two boys. Creating all these new memories with them catching bass really heals the soal. They are 8 and 5 now and I would for sure give your gift to them.

Hey Tyler - I wanted to reach out and tell you you how much I appreciate your work. I had a massive brain hemorrhage on June 2 of this year, it left me slightly wonky but really I was very lucky - (God loves me even with all my warts :) ) Anyway, I had never fished before - You’re gonna be mad about this but I live on a little lake in Olympia, WA (With some decent bass in it) and I only started fishing because I couldn’t work and was getting depressed and needed to find a hobby, so at age 61, I started watching your videos, bought some stuff and started catching fish. It’s really helped me transition from 38 years of chasing bad guys and convincing myself I am a badass and learning a fun hobby that keeps me busy. Thanks for your work (I am sending you a few $) thanks for your spirit and thanks for being a brother in the Lord.

Thank you for the tips for a first tackle box. My Grandson's (2 and half years old) favorite game is a fishing game/toy. He loves to look at pictures of the fish I have caught. He has even learned to identify bluegill and bass. I plan on building a tackle box for him for next spring. Can't wait for his first catch. It's going to be so much fun! Thanks again for the tips.

Hey Tyler, I've started my journey on bass fishing a few months ago. During this journey, my little cousin has taken interest in bass fishing, I've been teaching him the basics of bass fishing and even bought him his first fishing rod. He asks me all the time if I'm able to get him new gear, most of the time I get him something but a lot of the time I'm not able to because i don't have the money. His birthday passed and I didn't get him anything. I really want to see him get his first fish. I want him to have this tackle because i remember when I caught my first fish, how excited I was, and how fast I put that fish back because i was scared of hurting it. I want that for him. Where I live not a lot of the kids fish and I want to change that. I want to pass on something valuable to my little cousin so he can pass it on aswell.

My father in law is finally going to be able to retire from his career after several hiccups keeping him stuck at work. He has been dreaming and working for far too long and there is always a hiccup to keep him working. He bought a used bass/ski boat just two months ago and has had nothing but problems after he got it. He has a dream of finally getting the opportunity to be able to learn and teach his grandchildren to fish. I just took my youngest son bass fishing for the first time last week and he caught two pound and a halfers and he was super proud. He's now hooked, no pun intended. Wow I really wished I knew about you year’s ago. I’m 62, retired and now taking up fishing. It was my Doctor that recommended it after I suffered a dissecting Carotic artery. No longer taking blood thinners so I’m not worried about getting cut. So I’m now taking up fishing. The lake is only 18 min from my house. I’m also in Florida, a good state to fish all year. My big move is to fish from a kayak. I never had any luck fishing , Thanks to you, I’m learning and loving it.

I'm subscribing. I used to fish with my Dad and uncles when I was younger quite a bit but the family split up and the hobby never really came to fruition.
