Can some one confirm if you can get Focus regen on your chest and legs?

U can get it on all pieces focus regen is busted Edit" I wanted to test this made 100+ legs and couldn't get focus regen" head, hands, weapon, and socket yellow (head) is what I can get so far for focus regen"

When I've equipped it, it never regenerated. Might have been a bug, have to test again

​@@djpeajay They fixed it in Patch 1 it now gives ~1.5 Focus per second, and you can stack the enchants. Feels really good now

I think its better to make all the changes they think are relevant and have reasons for now while still in EA and forming direction for early attribute balance overall. Once they have a feeling of a good balance, after release then ill ageee that smaller changes would be bettee unless there are busted exploits that need big changes to fix. But the idea would be to sort them out now, nice and early.

I think it's good to make changes early on before the release of more content and multiplayer how ever by nerfing both the dmg and the focus gain it might be a bit to much and i would hate to see them nerfing things to hard. I have seen this happen in other games and the nerfs will almost never be reversed what makes things obsolete.

one of the worst things ive seen in games is early access nerfs when you didn't even finish the game yet, content should be a priority not making the game unfun.

and defence, i can still facetank echo knight, taking all hes attacks head on and my hp bar never get under 50% and i cna just eat 1 food to get it back 100%

how much defence and how much equip load do you have? I am looking into making a tank build.

I think they should ultimately nerf almost all focus skills down a bit, focus skills shouldn't be 1 shotting any mob and the nerf to int scaling was very justified, me being able to stagger, cc, and ultimately kill the Echo Knight as a mage within 5 seconds is certainly a call for a nerf. Archers range spamming after chugging major focus pot is a call for a nerf, the increase of throws from 50-75 focus use was a good call as well, but still feel throws are WAY over tuned being able to instantly stagger and kill all mobs.

I agree with all your points, but the one I can most easily relate to is Throw. I had an alt that I gave a good 2H weapon to, put fire throw on it and went into the crucible to grind levels. I was only level 15ish when I was able to comfortably clear the crucible by just spamming throw. It does too much right now. Crazy damage, lots of stagger, applies on hit effects like freeze, it’s very quick, and it has a low focus cost even after the nerf. They should probably do a combination nerf on it by reducing the damage scaling and stagger generated. The on-hit effects like burn are fine and part of the skills appeal I think

no, normal mobs should be easy to kill with strong focus skills but elites and bosses no.

@@GooberTroy Oh totally man, once I noticed "Fire Throw" wasn't specific to one handed or two handed I was like "OH boy it can be rune slotted to anything?!" I slapped that in on my two hander and never looked back. Literally made the game a cake walk. :( Now I'm playing an archer because I was tired of owning the whole screen with one skill. Even on my archer, I'm only using the vendor bow, and haven't slotted any skills on and only leaving it on tier 1 just so the game can be more challenging. Sad times.

@@ketsi3079 I agree rune attacks should dispatch normal mobs easily, but there should still be at least a little effort. I like my character feeling strong, but the current way throw feels is like we simply don’t interact with the normal enemies at all.

@@GooberTroy the broblem lies there that we get focus too easily. if we get focus only by parrying and consumables with cooldowns then we focus more for the basic combat instead of spammin wepon runeskills

NERF everything... Right now the game is like Early game: soulslike gameplay with soulslike enemies End-game: Diablo gameplay but with souslike enemies. In end-game the game is too EASY AS FCK!

I think the problem is we are currently too high of a level for what is released in the game what makes it a cake walk, i feel like the crucible is designed for level 15-20.

its EA, they going to change alot of mechanics as well, adding skilltrees, adding multiplayer and pvp, adding raid dungeons, adding more weapons, more skills, more more and more

It's only pve for now but they will add multiplayer. And well if they feel like this does not belong in their game they should balance things out to their vision.

Yeah...right. NOT. The game isn't fun when you're never out of focus, one shotting every mob, even the Echo Knight fight can be done within 5-7 seconds with one focus pot, focus on hit, focus regen gear while spamming 1 skill. Yeah, really "lowkey killing the game with nerfs". Gimme a break.

​@@dannykuang9433guess you never played a dark souls game... you can 1 shot bosses very easily in dark souls it's about builds and how you pump up your main stat... all DS games are like this... very fun to break the game, game would be boring as fuck if everyone plays the same.

@@dantwosecstudio this isn’t Dark Souls and hell no if they were emulating Dark Souls point for point, in which case they’re not. This is EA and I am glad they’re taking feedback and nerfing/balancing things such as int scaling. It’s ultimately a move in the right direction imo busted builds or just busted rune skill system to begin with needs to be toned down.

it's necessary to balance the game a bit before they release more content and introduce multiplayer. But i agree they have to be careful to not over nerf things.
