Built d16 y7 block z6 Head Speedfactory Racing NO NOTCH rods YCP pistons 

What water bump did you use for the z6 on y7 block did timing come out right

I have the same setup but am having some problem with the timing

What distributor did you use? I’m having a problem with the d16z6 head on a d16y7 block nothing seems to work

would you run into this problem with a Y8 head?

Hey I’m in the about to put my y7 together with the spf long rods and I noticed the oem rods have a hole for wrist pin lubrication the spf rods don’t should I be worried?

Why is my z6 I have a problem on the top right to it’s higher then others is that normal

Hey bro I'm doing a z6 head on y7 rn. Did you have timing issues? I bought an adjustable gear incase but man trying to find info on this is hard. Any info is super appreciated.

It so funny watching this video again, just because I have literally the exact same scenario going on right now. literally, everything you explained... weird af. current stock turbo build is pushin coolant, but I'm just gonna pull it. I have a built y7 with every part exactly the same, sittin in my garage. SF Rods, Vitara pistons, King Racing Bearings, etc. Waiting on a Skunk2 Pro manifold. I work full time... All this in an EK. Dude, are you sure you're not me? I'm not even fucking kidding, exactly the same build, just a y7 head, check my IG -@djviciousballz (but my top right head stud is short too, so I'm super confused now. I thought that would only be a problem on a z6 head)...

what crank did you use ? z6 or y7 crank ? I'm guessing y7 right ? I built my head already and I'm going to throw it on my y7 block after i get my piston and rods

Do you know what speedfactory specs are on the rods bolts

I just built a css y7 block with the z6 head fully built there was only one z6 bolt that was needed

One quick question i got a z6 block and i want to throw on a y8 head? Will i need the same 1 different head stud?? If so which one?? Also what head gasket should i get

Ok maybe it's because I'm still learning about Honda's but I thought the d16y7 was non v-tech??

Except fke the FACT,you put used parts on it lol..as watching,i was thinking DAAAYYUUMM ol boy went all out on that parts list,he spared no $ thats for sure. And than you said you put a new waterpump on,as i looked i seen calcium deposits on the tube.hint it is a USED pump in which was run with purely water. Idk bro all i know,is you made an awesome video,but an even cooler car

Hey man I have pretty much the same build. Do you know if the z6 and y7 have the same crank pulley. Do you know if that will affect setting the timing ?
