So after seeing a few of these videos, here's some things to try. In a drag race with a drag car, the setup is unique as it's only goal is to hookup and maintain applied torque and acceleration in a straight line. You don't need anti-roll bars, you don't want a hard racing suspension, but a softer suspension to transfer the weight of the vehicle to the rear (with a slow rebound though on the front). You want steeper rear-end gear ratios like 3.77, 4.11, heck even 4.55 though that might affect the 1 mile race. Try 10-12 pounds of air in the rear slicks. At least, these are known as mechanical advantages and I've employed these tricks over the years on my drag cars.

I just found your built or bought series and it's looking very good. I just want you to know at about 7 mins when you converted it to AWD, you forgot to reupgrade your trans and driveline. Obviously you could subtract the money you paid to upgrade the trans and driveline stuff from the RWD car and then add the AWD components. Just beware that a driveline conversion will set your driveline back to stock and you will have to upgrade it again to get the full benefit of the conversion. Great videos!

You put wide tires on the front? Did you need extra weight for some reason?

Literally no one launches or shifts at red line. You spin the wheels way too much and loose time on your shifts when you go past the powerband. Ease it.

It has that amount of power because they wanted the car to have a 1:1 radio so having 4wd would make it alot heavier.

On the topic of quickness. Quickness is referring to the acceleration of a car. How fast a car can be is referring to top speed. The Regal is a good bit quicker, but the Koenigsegg is definitely a lot faster. A least that's my thoughts on it.

If you can't shift, why don't you leave it on auto? I only use manual because I drift a lot.

Aye I just thought of something Everyone hypes the Koenigsegg One:1 because of it's power to weight ratio but the Hennessy venom gt is also One:1 1244hp and 1244 Kilograms. Like a video was done saying because of the Koenigsegg One:1 ratio it would destroy the venom gt that shares the same ratio. I just realized how serious the bang wagon thing is.

if you switch every engine to the nascar engine why does it matter what car you buy

I wish you'd do circuit racing instead of drag racing to test the whole spectrum of the different cars.

The rollcage is for handling I.e turning. Your going in a straight line.

A built or bought using whatever cars you choose, but comparing lap times instead of drag times. You'll need to balance your money more as you'll also need to improve handling. Do 6 laps for each car, and take the best lap time.

The Buick has the Koenigsegg in the quarter mile but on the full mile the Buick definitely gives the Koenigsegg a run for its money. It might just be the shifting that matters also

The One:1 doesn't make 1300 at the wheels. At the rated 1360bhp, it would be around 1050-1100whp.

it might help if u use a big wing on the built car, so it can get more grip...

awd gives more weight and takes more space. It would not work with its aero. The front would have to be longer and that would give it even more weight.

and you can get a higher top speed in rwd cars rather than awd cars because awd cars are heavier than rwd cars
