Serving in the military with BTS would be like serving with Elvis... that's the closest comparison I can think of. My grandpa thought it was an honor that Elvis was serving when he was serving.

Elvis served in the military! Also, everyone should read the book "The 5000 Year Leap". Tells how incredible America is because of the freedoms that allow entrepreneurship.

My youngest daughter turned me onto BTS. Bulletproof Boy Scouts is correct, although it has since changed. But they have a very strong connection with their fans-- Army. I am just in awe of their dancing & singing skills (lip syncing is not allowed in the industry in S. Korea. I just get a kick out of them & have been known to sing along with their stuff on my playlist..and I'm 63.

My son (17) is a huge baseball fan. We live in San Diego but for some reason he was a huge Giants fan (& Warriors) before he became a Padres fan. And even though we just lost to the Phillies he loves Bryce Harper. He’s got memorabilia on his wall. He also collects ball caps from all different teams. He’s just an overall fan of the game.

I loved the talk about BTS, so refreshing 😆 I'm not a BTS fan, but I DO listen to a lot of kpop (basically the only thing I listen to actually 😅) it was nice to get a fresh perspective. And FYI, kpop isn't a genre, but a musicstyle. While BTS is probably mainly pop, kpop contains close to ALL genres in music, mixed together. It's one of the things that makes it unique 😉

I think it might be most accurate to say K-pop is Korea's music industry.... as in it you find anywhere from slow ballads to techno-pop to classic rock to jazz, R&B, and rap!

Pet red flags.. all I'm hearing is bla, bla, boring. 😜 They're the seasoning of life. Now if you don't live on a large property or the country and have lots of pets, that's just unfair to the pets/animals.
