‣ In today’s video, I will be giving you my first impressions of the bulletproof isolator. Is it the most versatile piece of home gym equipment out there in the market right now? ‣ Important information: I spoke to Larry the CEO, and by putting the carriage not upside down will help with the movements more like leg extensions and preacher curls! I have mine upside to have inside my rack, which is more designed for seated leg curls! Still figuring this thing out! This way I have setup is more designed for seated leg curls! I’ve used it facing up in my last short! Just make note of that guys! I’ll talk about it more in my next video!

What’s your thoughts on the bulletproof isolator?👇 to make note, putting the carriage not upside down will help with the movements more! Still figuring this thing out! See my comment in the description. This way I have setup is more designed for seated leg curls! I’ve used it facing up in my last short! Just make note of that guys! Good job, Luke! It is a cool piece of equipment, for sure. I agree, it takes a little time to play with and figure out how to set up exercises so they work best for you. Something I found works well for me is tilting the seat pad back one notch for leg extensions. It made a big difference for me.

Wooo!!! Over $700 is a "Ooh Chile..." from me. That's a lot. Yeah give us the full review and your final impressions if it's worth it to buy. Do they offer a protection plan or insurance in case something goes wrong years later where they'll fix it or replace it with a new one? Hey Luke! Is it possible to interchange the position of the seat/pad and arm and put them on the left side instead? Or is it possible to get the handle to orient to the top while keeping your seat/pad on the right? It looks like your handle is on the bottom. Thanks in advance!

Nice video. I just finished set up my isolator and the part that slides up and down on leverage arm with rollers has lots of friction and it gets stuck. Supper hard to move up and down and i know is not supoused to be like that. I wonder if i got a fefective piece? By the way have u tried seated leg extwnsions??

Bro the carriage is insanely heavy so I just set it up to where I can do everything. I do a seated leg curl and it feels nice! I have a YT short of me doing it too if you wanna go check it out!

I've had no issues getting two pins in. I think it was designed with a normal rack in mind, the titan has significantly less holes than other

Yeah that’s my thoughts! Most racks have numerous holes. Mines minimal but one pin with the screws to tighten it don’t give it much to any wiggle at all!

Curious how you feel about it now? My concern you mentioned its heavy and really needs its own space. I have a Rep rack with dual cables so can't leave it on rack. I'd need to build out of my rack, buy new one for it or get their new stand they have and find space for it. Curious also what other exercises you do with it?

Honestly bro, I only now use it for leg extensions and it sits on a separate rack because it’s too heavy. It’s a great machine but it takes up the rack and I think if you have the space, I’d snag a squat stand from like Titan and set this up on it, but most people don’t have that room.

Nice video. What do u think about hip thrust on tje machine?? Iam debating between the titan le curl v2 machine and the bullet proof isolator?? I have the stray dog goat with all the attachments but i think i will sell it to ether get the titan machine or isolator. Also will get squat max or rhino dont know which one yet🙄 Been overthinking everyday forever about what to buy between the pieces above😢 money is not a problem right now, the problem is that i dont know what to buy. Lol

Bro in my HONEST opinion, get this, you can do so much and it’s WELL BUILT!! My main concern is it’s a PAIN to move!! So find a spot you like it at and leave it, I got a rack in my gym designed just for this attachment bc it’s so heavy lol I wouldn’t get the Titan leg curl only bc this can save you space and offer a lot more exercises to your training. Versatility is king!!

@@futbol1972 I like holding onto the beams of my rack for that extra support! It seems to help ease the pressure on my back and focus more on my quads for extensions

How does the Isolator attach to the post? Does it use pins that front holes? Also, does it use multiple pins? I have a Rep PR-1100 rack with 1" front holes only, no side holes. Also the holes are slightly more than 3" center to center. Thanks.

It has a pin that you use and spacers to tighten to keep it stable on the rack!!

@@LukesGarageGym Thanks. So: (1) Is there only one pin that supports the Isolator? If so, I don’t have to worry about pin and hole spacing. (2) Standing in front of the rack, does the pin use a hole in the front or in the side of the post? If the pin uses a hole in the side of the post it will not work with my rack because there are no side holes on my rack. Please check on this when it is convenient for you to do so. Thanks for your help with this.

Side note: I wish RU-vid had settings that you can automatically "Like the video" after you finished watching the video since I tend to get distracted easily. I say that because I quickly click on to next video, get distracted, but then I forget to hit the "Like" button for that video I just watched. My apology for that. What size rack and holes is if? 2x2 and 5/8? I’m curious. I haven’t seen it used on a half rack but I can’t see why it wouldn’t since it’s only on one beam of the rack
