i Love the humility and moral of this video in that everybody makes really bad choices in life , but it takes a real man to apologize and a real man to forgive , thats the best part of this video , basketball was just the platform used ! amen
Unless there was something missed by the recap, Mookie is an example of a big ego who knows how to be humble. I let anyone have a big ego as long as they can back it up. If they can’t, they better know how to own up to it.
Uncle Drew's van is freaking awesome! Looks like all the classic makings of a great movie! Solid story funny moments light hearted uplifting star studded players including goat and its basketball! Hello!??? Can't go wrong with this one.
@@Willard_Woodington it was supposed to be the same shot when they were kids, mookie was supposed to block it again, but he did a pump fake to trick mookie, then he took the shot after mookie fell down.
Yes, big fella is Shaq. Yes Casper is Aaron Gordon. Yes Chris Webber, Nate Robinson and Reggie Miller are in it. As well as the goat of the wnba, lisa leslie.
I worked on Uncle Drew. Was so much fun hanging out with those guys. Will never forget them playing full-on basketball in 100-degree weather wearing velour sweatsuits with all the makeup and latex on their faces!
The thing about the shoes is he bought them and they took them as good faith to the team and in which he could sue each and every player that left the team for damages and the cost of the shoes. Just like an engagement ring they would've been required to return said contractual gift if they chose to leave.
I actually went and saw this movie in the theater. It was funny, touching and I got emotional when he actually got them all back together. Not spoiling the whole thing but it was touching to me in some parts of the movie. His girlfriend is a comedian Tiffany Haddish, funny with her sassiness. Uncle drew was no joke and so old school, he's a classic in himself. Really liked this movie When they mentioned The Rucker, all things of history and stories reflects to that Bball Park.
I am not a fan of sports movies - I will watch one, but I will not select one. HOWEVER, this recap was a pure peach!! I may look for a copy of this movie and select it. Thank you so very much for posting this movie recap!
The king of the New York playgrounds in the early 60's was Connie Hawkins. He was later a Globetrotter but was shunned by the NBA. In 1967-68, he led the Pttsburgh Pipers to the first ABA title.
plentiful, beautiful cinematic shining light on different corners of society and pulling a lot of wisdom exempleries. Really marvelous, really and truely.

he has catatonic schizophrenia and while that is outdated it means someone who has schizophrenia and catatonic but it wouldn't because the catatonic is state in catatonic schizophrenia is biological and not mental its also just a goofy movie
usually people get nightmares of their family members dying or a war, but this dude is scared of losing against his nemesis, which is much scarier than being in a war or seeing one of your relatives get murdered.
okay so you think losing a game of basketball is scarier than war mind you there is a risk of getting shot or watching your comrades die also the worst possible mental trauma is the death of a loved one i don’t know where your getting this from
Imagine how many sweet Uncle Drew @ Rucker mixtapes we would have and how spectacular they would have been. Still watched now. if the digital era was back in the day?
this is a story which is all about what makes life special. i recognized shaq attack at the end and i certainly love that big fella. heard some wonderful things bout him and he was great and can rap and act and he towers over kelly ripa by miles. wonderful man.
