What have we become as a society where a man, posthumously represented by his wife and children, gets booed? This is shameful on every level. What a disgrace to human decency. Do better Chicago fans! I know Jerry was very unpopular for breaking up the bulls dynasty but without him masterminding and engineering trades and hirings, the dynasty would have never happened. I look at Jerry Krause's wife's face, when he was being honored for something and the crowd was booing him even though he's dead. Because of some of his actions, his wife paid for it. It honestly breaks my heart, probably much more than it should. I just want to hug that woman and tell her I'm sorry that people treated her like that on what should have been a joyful occasion.

Many players don't see eye to eye with owners or GMs but that's still no reason to disrespect him when he did the best job he could. Two separate 3 peats with in a decade is crazy. That is exactly what I was thinking. I also think that if the Bulls organization would have thought this out a bit better, they could have foreseen this and tried to deter it. Maybe somebody could have asked Jordan to make Krause a part of his video message giving him the credit he deserves. The crowd followed Jordan's lead regarding Krause for years, so him saying something good about him prior to Krause's introduction, may have deterred some of the booing.

I was here this night for the ring of honor, and I didnt boo, but in defense of the people that did, nobody could see Jerrys wife was there when they flashed his image in the United Center because the lights were off. As soon as the lights came on and they revealed his wife was there, the boos died down. I still dont think its right to boo a dead man but Jerry has kinda been a villain in the city for decades for all the petty drama between jordan and jackson so its to be expected, in any city. I think it was a dumb idea to flash the cities biggest sports villain in a dark arena before revealing his quivering wife. Chicago has more class than to boo an elderly woman

F Krauss who did everything possible to break up a 6 time champs team until Reinsdorf relented. The main cast were the stars, and Krauss brought in the supporting cast who Jordan & Pippen schooled into being Champs but were mediocre at best. Stacey King is employed by the tv station NBC Sports Chicago who carry the games but he knows that by defending management he has job security. Krauss was a cretin but blame Reinsdorf for putting his widow in that position.

Put 6 titles together and Paid Mike and Scotty less than other GREATS on other teams that were not getting Titles.... It was often spoken on how MUCH LESS MONEY MIKE AND SCOTTY WHERE MAKING....
