@@Liry1 have you seen the clone wars? He really didn't like grievous. He was a very skilled duelist, so the thought of training someone to rely on having extra lightsabers and spinning them really fast would've made him sick. He had no respect for grievous and was responsible for mutilating his body in legends.

At the end of those animations he got his chest caved in by Mace Windu, which was why he was a weak, coughing, wreck in the movie after that. Unfortunately this version of Grevious was the one most people saw and it seem that star wars works since have moved forward with that version of Grievous.

Also, while it's not even hinted at in the movies, at least in the EU Dooku was something of a Nazi who not only disliked non-humans but all sorts of prosthetics. He actually held contempt even for Anakin's getting himself a mechanical arm to replace the one he had lost in their duel on Geonosis instead of mastering single-handed combat. Imagine how low he must have thought of Grevious-level of full-on cyborgs.

In all fairness, Grevious' boasts are so dumb in this sequence. He loses two of his hands keeping him from using 4 sabers, and then the clones attack and he says "you're doomed" even though Kenobi has been consistently winning the whole encounter. **Then he runs away**, after telling Kenobi he's doomed, apparently to his ship so he can also flee? You know, instead of commanding the battle.
