Not a new character like have a multiplayer game or offline one Called Bully:Unfinished Business Where u can play as jimmy or Pete and do missions online or play offline and be any of them 2 characters and in the game u gotta fight off bull worth after Gary gets expelled and u gotta save the school and town form the jocks greasers and other characters in the school
I remember back when it came out I heard about bully through the press and thought: "a game that encourages you to be a bully? That's appalling!" Years later I realise that Jimmy is actually a good guy who stands up for the Nerds more than any other group in the game. Moral: Don't judge a game by its title.
Now would be a great time for a Bully sequel, set it on a college campus, rife with satire possibilities, SJW's, cultural appropriation, safe spaces, entitlement upon entitlement upon entitlement.
The first was full of satire too, every class of character was just an exaggerated stereotype (ala, the nerds who were all in the minority of what nerds are actually like, offensive representations by the same standards, really), the main antagonist was a narcissist with ADHD. Rockstar in general is heavily satirical basically across the board, Red Dead the least of which, but still pokes good fun at some western tropes. It's not not like the game would be ONLY those things, there's plenty else, just it's set up with a wealth of material to poke fun at the more absurd portions (not just liberals, conservatives and MRA's and the like too) of life ON TOP of the story.
i like the old harry potter games (1-3) very much. Would be awesome to have the whole castle, village and hinterlands as an free big open world to do quests (lessons) and all the other stuff. If they make a game inckluding the whole story, it would be a pretty large and long and good story though.
ahh! the nostalgia what a fun game games just aren't the same when you grow up there still awesome but these old games will always have a special place in my heart
MynamesBobby this looks really reliable. Heh. huzlers.com/rockstar-announces-bully-2-to-be-released-in-2016/ Where I saw it was in a site listing future Xbox one games, where I saw some amazing shit like doom, and I did see bully 2 there. I'm working now, maybe you can use the Google to do your own search.
+sonofnothing This is fake news. The game data files which I have does not have the Release set. Also Its fake when the editor stated "A T rated version of GTA". Rockstar did not make Bully a Teen GTA game.
I wish Rockstar can make a sequel to this, only thing I'm not looking forward to is the needy gamers who do nothing but complain in social media posts, that being said whats your favorite mission in the game????
I always say that early 2000's open world games like the original Assassin's Creed and even some GTA games could use some features and find wasted potential, but damn, VERY few things i can find wrong with Bully! The NPC's are alive and interact with you, original perspective and very likeable characters! I say to almost every game that it's awensome but Bully is one of my favourites ever, and hardly i find one of those games! For an PS2 game, and the concept of a teenager, the game is really advanced, weather that affects you, and even has a step further because you can Kiss boys, drive scooters, and Jimmy is one of my favourites protagonist ever!
Who else thinks bully 2 should take place in high school and by high school I mean like modern high school where you go to parties yeah it would be pretty awesome
+Jesus Pena : Well let's put it this way, the PlayStation 2 had it's limitations. I'm sure if Rockstar had the chance to add cell phones, parties and all the normal stuff that teenagers obsessed with, then they would have. And now since we've moved onto PlayStation 4 and Xbox One which can handle a lot more stuff now, I'm sure that they'll add that stuff into the sequel....that is if they ever make a sequel.
The private school system they have implace now really does make more sense, because it gives you more room to explore while still staying in the school grounds, and it doesn't just limit the school to 1 building. Although I can see how your idea seems like it would be really cool to see
Holy shit... that music at the beginning! I remember this game :D ahh ps2 - the best shit ever. Honestly, I'm going to go and buy this one... it was awesome and like the guy said, hilarious. It never truly got the recognition it deserved.
Apparently, they plan to, but they said they were gonna wait until after they finish Max Payne 3. Since I've never paid attention to that series, I don't know if 3 is out yet, but there ya go.
I finally picked this up yesterday and so far, I am loving it. Harry Potter it ain't, but it's exactly the kind of school-based game I've always wanted to play. I like that there are hidden collectibles to track down. It gives you a reason to explore every nook and cranny of the map. Sure, GTA has the Hidden Packages, but I never felt the need to go out of my way to find them like I do here. Bravo, Rockstar! You've proven once again that awesome gameplay will trump graphics every time.

Ahhh I remember when ign defended gamers instead of censorship
I got it on PS 2, when it first came out and thought it was a bit slow. But, now replaying it on the 360 and the achievements are making it more playable now.
I had this when I was 7 and I lost it. Bought it again a week later and I still have it, best decision ever. I later bought scholarship edition and even bought it on PSN, needless to say, I love this game.
I remember picking up this game back in the day. The funny thing was I had just recently started at my new school and was in a fight nearly everyday, after all I was the new kid lol. I could relate to this game so much because I was in the same situation.
Rockstar should make this a series of different games with each game being a diferent year of school all the way up to college and maybe all the way to college graduate and have it be a GTA style game. Could be a big money maker amd I feel it would be a huge hit a 8 or so game series and end with a real life real world game. Something like that along thise lines.
They could do it like Red Dead where alot of people don't even remember the first game and its just a completely different new game. That would be sweet because i really loved the school aspect of this game.
You can play a better looking version with more content on mobile. We’ve come pretty far, hopefully this game eventually gets a sequel on next gen systems
Matei Bobes I’m only 24 , Bully on the original Ps2 is the best because it’s the full game with all the little scenes and chases. On ps3 and ps4 there isn’t any extra missions and I know on the ps3 it doesn’t have all the scenes.
+Eternal Gamer : Gameplay wise, definitely not. Storywise though, it's better. "San Andreas" had a story that was just too much. Plus it didn't help that CJ was a pathetic protagonist.
***** : Well, I guess "Bully" does beat "GTA V" in terms of story as well. For one thing, the story is still engaging even after 10 years. "GTA V", not as much as I wished.
This was the first game i ever beat, back in 2006. Good times, this game should have had a Sequel and i dont know why it was so underrated, it was so good! Great story and gameplay, the people who made assumptions about it and criticized it obviously didnt fucking play it. So happy its on the PSN now :D
It’s 2019 and today I was like let me plug in my ps3 and I saw I had Original ps2 Bully downloaded dude such a great classic game , had fun playing it like I did years ago.
This game was very much anti-bullying. But peopl saw the title and th developer and assumed that you WERE the bully. When you are actually out to stop the bullys.
Rockstar will be working on Agent after GTA V, maybe a new Red Dead after that and who knows what they got in store beyond that. Hopefully a new bully.
this game deserves a 10/10....so bs how a fun game like Bully gets a 8.9....y the hell not just make it a 9.0...ive beaten this game twice, i even traded a Nintendo Wii console for a Playstation 2, bully....was it worth it....hell yes....bully never gets old, never gets boring.
What a classic. It was one of my favorite games and I got bored of it and sold it. Ever since, I've had the urge to play it. Nothing funner than letting your bad boy side out every now and then on Bully.
I just picked up Bully for $7 at disk replay for PS2. (I also got the Godfather). I hope it's worth it... For people that have played it, does the story line take away from the open endedness of the world? I am a big fan of simulators and open end sandbox world games! Does this live up to that standard? Thanks for your help. I guess it's time to start the game now with my wireless headset plugged into my hdtv and my good old ps2 with my custom 16 mb memory card and wireless controller, oh yeah!
