I personally think that the epilogue that we’ll see the adult Team RWBY and Remnant will have New Era, I sure that Yang and Blake will be seen with their kids who are human-Faunus hybrids by birth or adopted either humans or Faunus.

@@theolob99 I'd point to v4 to laugh the idea of Sun being a better match out the door as it demonstrates just how much he isn't. To me there's always been an unstated difference of weight between how she is with Sun and Yang; where the latter has actual substantive weight to it and the prior is like this goofy light-hearted thing. Though I'd wager any attempts at logic will be disregarded with those types, because homophobia

If it weren't for Sun, Blake would've never returned to her friends or mustered the courage to face Adam. Yang would've hated her forever and would've never mustered the courage to face Adam either. Team RWBY wouldn't be the same without Blake. And with that, Yang and Blake confronted their demons and vanquished them once and for all. All was forgiven. I salute you, Sun. You and your team.

@@kidprime6863 ftr Yang never 'hated' Blake, she had a lot of emotions going on when separated but it never crossed into that territory. If anything she was hurt yet also pining.

God, Sun deserves so much better than his useless putz of a school partner. I don't think I'll ever be able to fully get on board with any other Sun ship, but at least give him something.

The antis don't realize that Sun WAS important to the story. Sun cared for Blake more than himself, and when she needed a friend, he was there. He also knew her team, and more importantly, Yang, needed her more than he did, so he pushed her back to them. I think that when he finds out Blake and Yang are now a couple, he'll be more than happy for both of them! That's just the kind of guy Sun is.

@@spencermalley10 I don't. He gets to be the bro and likely future uncle to BB's kid; while eventually finding his own partner. I mean I am onboard with Seamonkeys, Sun and Neptune; but nothing is on that front is confirmed. Though I do think of all people Neptune is the most acclimated to handling Sun's antics.

In your own post below you said something to the effect of 'don't bother commenting etc or trying to convince me' which means you don't want Bee shippers projecting their POV on what a good ship it is on you - so at least have that same courtesy for other commentors that are simply expressing their joy for the ship. Each to their own.

So again, if you don't want bee shippers presenting you with essays to the contrary, just respect that there are others that are fine with how it was written or, like me, acknowledge there are parts I'd change or add to but that it doesn't take away from the experience we've had with it. So, lastly, each to their own opinion. It's not your civic duty to pounce on anyone that likes the ship to tell them why they shouldn't - it won't stop them shipping it, in the same way I've not responded to any of your points because I'm not trying to change your mind in the same way you won't change mine - it's pointless. Just let people enjoy what makes them happy.

@@thefanwithoutaface8105 I agree, Blake and Sun had more interactions, story, and development than Blake and Yang. At this point Bumblebee is nothing more than LGBTQ representation with little to no story behind it.

I'm gonna be fair, I've talked to plenty of people who considered themselves as "blacksun" shippers but I never came across anyone who was homophobic, at least in the comment section of RU-vid. Their main problem from my understanding is the fact that there were generic tropes thrown in there since suns introduction that got people thinking RT was setting sun and Blake up to be a thing. I disagree with their speculation of it after watching the entire series with all the context in mind but I understand their reasons at least. 🤔

His presence wasn’t wasted at all. He was her pillar of support but sharing a commonality which is their Faunus heritage. They had some shared struggles too so she needed support during THAT time even when she refused it. It wasn’t a build up for them to get together. It was for Sun to act as a catalyst to push and motivate Blake into being a voice that leads her people to stand up against Adam but Sun also motivated her to go back to her team because like he said to her, that’s where she needed to be. And he was also a driving force in her returning to Yang’s side. Just remember when he was admitting that he was willing to risk his life for Blake but…he even added that Yang would do the same thing too. He was practically pumping Yang up for Blake and making her realize that running away was a horrible idea. He was a good friend to her and comrade in arms. But what rooms their relationship was the fact that he’s neither a protagonist nor deuteragonist. And he’s a Faunus. Blake ending up with another Faunus would have shown that while she can coexist with other Humans now, she’s still only prefers to date within her species and CRWBY wanted to show that for someone who used to NOT be able to trust the human race, here’s a girl that not only was able to learn to be friends with them but also find love with one of the them. Preferably one that had “plot armor” since they too were a main character. It’s harder to elevate the status of a side character considering it would involve things like hiking up a VA’s salary as well as attempting to try to find ways to fit that side character constantly in a storyline with the title characters of RWBY.

Yang and Blake had 9, so obviously they work better

The main point of that moment has an underlining implication, Blake elaborated her reason as to not trusting Yang, and it has to do with the person who was once precious to her doing something similar. The implication behind that moment is to point out that yang is precious to Blake but she is worried sh may end up being the same as Adam. So it's not forgotten, it's just foreshadowing 2 specific moments in volume 6, the talk in the barn and the final fight against Adam.

I'm not sure what you mean by "allure to boys" Anyway as for the other part, I personally see: - Yang as either pan or lesbian - Blake as her confirmed and properly toned bi - Ruby as Ace (w/ Penny as her romantic love) - Weiss I could see being bi. Mostly cause of Weiss's interactions towards Pyrrha but also towards ones like Bruce in the JL crossover comics. Was never a fan of her with Neptune and Jaune would be an "okay...fine." option now that their characters have grown from the early days of him hitting on her, even though she showed no interest in him. Though I still think my fav is her with Bruce in terms of men xD

Look, this is comming from a bumbleby shipper. Just because you don't like the ship, it doesn't make you are "against LGBT". You don't need to apologise for anything. You have your opinions and your own way of thinking and have the right to verbalize them. There are several personal reasons to dislike a certain ship, being it straight or not. Some of those reason can be valid or not. But saying you are a homophobic just because you didn't like bumbleby is just not right People who would say that don't have the intelect to argumentate. You don't have to walk on eggshells because of shipping. You have nothing to apologise for.

Well actually Blake is bisexual and Yang is confirmed to be pansexual.

@@BionicleGio22210 Hell, I wouldn't mind Jaune hooked up with either Weiss or Ruby. As for Rose Garden I find it weird and awkward because One) age gap and Two) he's the reincarnation of Ruby's Headmaster and teacher. Plus he's still in Oscar's head and that makes it even more weird and awkward. I also don't like the teacher/student romance, sometimes. It feels wrong, sometimes. Maybe Ruby could hook up with one of the boys from other teams if push comes to shove.

Your not wrong, it really did looked forced using a punderstorm. Lol but I will admit, it was the most beautiful moment I've seen since Ren and Nora's intimate talk in the schnee mansion. To this day I'm still looking for that end credit artwork cause it almost brought me to tears. And I still can't find it somehow 😭

I completely agree 💯! I would've liked to see more of Adam's back story especially on how he got that scar. Plus, Yang and Sun competing for Blake would've been very entertaining 😄

Well I do kinda agree as far as Adam is concerned but RT never really applied romance drama heavily into RWBY, it originally started as 4 colors, 4 girls with cool weapons and it was mostly about action, adding drama would've dilute the main plot of the story 🤔

I actually said the same thing about the punderstorm making the whole moment forced, atleast back then, but given how dark the other 2 episodes turned out, I can see why they did it like that, there wasn't going to be another moment cause everything got pretty brutal later lol.

Sun had an important role in Blake’s life as a pillar of support from being a fellow Faunus. Their shared connection through their race is what made them connect as friends and give her an outlet to vent especially during the time she still felt weary and distant towards most humans so she needed someone who understood her struggles at that time. And he was the person who finally convinced her that she needed to go back to her team and also her partner Yang. Remember when Sun had mentioned that his injury was something he would be willing to go through for Blake? He also added that Yang would have done the same for Blake. So he was a catalyst and a voice of reason which is a good role to have. What dooms him is the fact that he’s neither a protagonist no a deuteragonist and more importantly, he’s a “Faunus.” The idea was for Blake to show how much she had learned to not only to coexist with the human species but to also find love with one since as a story trope it helps bridge the gap between Faunus and Humans.

I heard that the ship name never originated from RT, it came from the fans and RT decided to take that into the series, but yang and Blake before even being aired was planned to be a couple from the start, they just never gave them the name bumblebee.

@@thefanwithoutaface8105 not really Blake's and Yang's relationship had much subtext and explicit moments romantically in comparison The reason most people don't see it is cuz of how society treats Female relationships Girls who are friends are allowed to be intimate in comparison to guy friends Which leads to Girl/Girl romances being seen as "I don't see it" I can bet money that if Yang or Blake were a boy and you keep the moments between them People wouldn't be calling them juts friends

Sure you could say that was just close friendship stuff, but just imagine every one of their interactions up to this point with Blake as a guy, people would have instantly assumed they were crushing on each other. Just look at everyone's response to blushy Weiss everyone immediately assumed that there ship is end game.

Wouldn't be surprised if Ruby and Weiss to be Scissoring too that just seems a Rooster Teeth thing to do to gain attention.
