So we were so excited to share our pregnancy announcement! Thanks so much for ALL of your kind comments and messages. We are obviously over the moon about it and the kids are sooo excited.
Stay tuned to for a bump update and to hear what the kids want to call the baby. Also there is baby names we WON'T be using... Dan's favourite name for the baby has already been vetoed may I add 😂

I actually love the name Brighten! Although I hear Bethanys point about it being a bit ‘out there’...it actually goes really nicely with River and Cove, like a nature theme. I’m so excited for more pregnancy/birth related vlogs! Lots of love, Cath xx

Bethany - get a hand garment steamer, I never have to get my iron out anymore! Swan do one it’s around £25 and honestly it’s LIFE CHANGING!! You just whiz it over the item of clothing and it’s done soo much faster than the iron!! Xxx

Can't wait to hear what name you choose! Some other water themed ones: Ariel, Crew, Finn, Harbor, Lachlan/Lochlan, Laken/Lakin, Marina, Ocean, Raina, Sandy, Seymour, Snow, Wells. I think Brighten fits well too :)

Argh I feel your pain Bethany, I would reach out of nowhere in the mornings especially. My morning sickness went on till 25 weeks and as it was my first pregnancy, I didn’t even realise you could get medication to help. Definitely trying some next time! Hope you feel better soon x

I don't really see Brighten going with River and Cove lol, maybe something like Meadow, Serenity, or Forest? You've got a lot of time to think about it 😁

I love hearing your names! In my primary school (00's) there was a sibset of girls called Storm, Rivers, Ocean and Amaya (night rain)! So ahead of the time with such a cool theme! Brighten would be a nice homage hope through covid! I love Tadgh, Zephyr, Orphy and Orson too. Look forward to you both finding your perfect name :)

I actually like the name suggestion, but I prefer the spelling of the place name, Brighton. There’s tons of kids called Paris, London, Brooklyn etc- I don’t think it’s crazy “out there”! And it has a similar sound to other popular names, eg Leighton/ Ashton!

Whenever I think of names, I always imagine myself shouting for them in a park. Brighten doesn't pass that test even though I like the name and it suits the fam... Maybe if you shortened it to B as a nickname or something 😅

Baby names: I've always loved Phaedon (fay-don) and Lysander for a boy and Kaitlynn for a girl. My son is called Finnley

You and Bethany have such a lovely family. I'm always a fan of unusual names and if its special to you guys then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. My kids are called Evelyn and Reuben and they are the only kids in there school or nearby with those names and that was super important to me as I always had about 4 other Laura's in my classes through school lol. I did get vetoed by my husband as I originally wanted to name our son Buddy and he wasn't a huge fan of it but it is one of his middle names so managed to squeeze it in somewhere lol 😂 Both of my kids each have two middle names as well because I do and wanted that to be a family tradition ❤️

That is so cute having a family naming tradition. I love that! Yeah we are the same, we want to choose unique names. It's funny you mention Buddy, because that's what I call Cove all the name. Sometimes if I call his name he'll say "no dad I like it when you call me Buddy". Love that as a name!

@@TheYoungs I have noticed you call him Buddy in the vlogs! Its such a sweet name I just couldn't quite convince the hubby. It was a last minute entry for a middle name as he said it could be a middle name while I was in labour lol! X
