First of all - I'm still dying at Cove's comments to me this morning! Thanks for all your lovely comments and advice recently, I've looked into all of your suggestions so thank you!
Do you guys ever look at your partner and just think, "oh my word, we are SO different"? I chat through some of the things that we do differently. Ultimately I think it balances us both out that we are coming from different perspectives and makes for a healthy marriage.
Which category would you be in? A dreamer like Dan or more of a do-er like me?

Other moms might do all the things and make it look easy - BUT! It doesn’t make it any less tough! You’re rocking it, Bethany! Your kids are healthy, and looked after, give yourself a little less expectation, and a little more congratulations!! 👏👏👏👏

I had to stop the video a bit to come here and comment. YES, me and my husband are just like you two. He is the dreamer, super dedicated to what he wants, a go getter, loves a challenge and constantly plans/present ideas that he hasn't had a single thought on. While I am very organised and realistic. I'm normally the one on the backstage making everything work well, thinking about the next steps and the next steps after that just so I don't say ''yes'' to an idea I'm not sure is going to work well. It's tiring and I'm often seen as the ''pessimist'', the one who puts issues in everything. But after that, he also realises it wasn't doable and it's not talked about anymore. I understand that we work well together, a good balance but it is extremely mentally tiring to me. I have recently learned to say 'yes do that' to things I know are not feasible and I never hear of them again haha

Bethany we are so the same.....I put it simply in that when I put a wash on I check all the rooms, when Mr puts a wash on, he puts it on with only the washing in the basket as he just wants it done........whereas I think about the process to have clean clothes. 😂 ps I must add, my husband would also put the washing on the 15minute wash without considering the stuff in the wash! 😂😂😂

We have life insurance with 2 separate policies for my husband and I. Pretty sure it covers critical illness so our mortgage would be completely paid off if either of us were critically ill. I used to have some insurance encase I couldn’t work but usually there’s a 3 month or so gap before it kicks in after losing your job etc. I think they’re two separate types of cover. If you’re self employed it may be worth looking into insurance for if you can’t work...

Honestly, I think that’s one of the reasons why I love your guys’ videos so so much.. bc you’re so relatable and you remind me of me and my other half. He is 10,000 percent very strategic and is such a critical thinker and Virgo. Whereas I’m a Gemini through and through and very much a dreamer.. and it’s hard to match up those two total opposite ends of the spectrum for sure haha buuuuut we love each other!?! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Soooo I can relate hahaha ♥️♥️

We took a mortgage holiday this year as well, it was definitely a good idea. We also have critical illness cover as part of our life insurance, handy to have but it definitely does bump the price up!

Lol I’m an infinitely more ideas kind of person - but because I’m also always seeking out all the pitfalls and so constantly changing the goals based on how to make something the best it can be before I pursue it fully. (But 100% I need downtime and have to protect it at all costs!)

Another great video guys! Cove is savage, I think its just a boy thing as my son Reuben who is almost 4, is honestly the same. He can cut me to the core and then cuddle me and its all forgotten 🤣

Life insurance/personal injury cover - Make sure you read the fine print. A lot only cover you if you are literally on your death bed. Maybe consider just setting up a direct debit and putting away the same amount every month into a separate personal or joint account of your own that way it’s the same idea but you don’t have to prove to anyone how ill you are (should the worst happen) and a massive company aren’t making money on your potential illness...just a thought :) love your channel ♥️

I always put parmesan on top of my lasagne, lots, it's the tastiest part of the whole thing! When it's a bit golden brown. Yum. :-)

We have life and critical illness cover, it costs a lot more than just life cover but its worth it for peace of mind!

I was a mortgage and insurance adviser for years......if you need to speak to someone, let me know as I have a good friend advisor in Aberdeen! Critical illness is generally more expensive than life insurance with terminal illness cover, however it is worthwhile having guys! X
