Rule 1 in gun safety is to never point a firearm at someone you don't intend to kill. Rule 2 is never put your finger on the trigger until you are ready to ELIMINATE the threat
That's why I heavily listened to their (UGK) music cause they made it clear about how niggaz in the streets move and how mindful ppl need to be aware of their surroundings
I remember back in day 2Pac, Biggie, Big L, and Freaky Tah all died in a four year span and it's was a big deal. Now and days, a rapper die or is killed and no one really flinches anymore. Sad times.
You gotta be trolling with this....people may not be mourning it in your face but they are. I think you're projecting. Just because you don't care doesn't mean others don't. All this corny dissing of the new generation(based on nothing but negative feelings) is crap. The youth sees it and it's why they don't listen to old heads.
@@mjpthetrucker9485 I think you're the one that's projecting or caught up in your feelings. Back then, a rapper getting killed was a huge deal and never happened the way it does now. Like mass shootings, mass shootings happen so much now that people just continue going to work, going on with their day, etc and the news just moves on to the next story. Back then, if you heard or saw 7, 8, or 11 plus shot in a mass shooting, it made national news all week to a month and everyone would be in shock and couldn't stop talking about it. Compare the number of rappers that died in a four year span in this era vs. 96-2000 it's no comparison.
Pac, Biggie, L and Tah was the big rappers but it was plenty of rappers dying back then as well. Plan Bee, Stretch, Seagram got killed months before 2Pac did and he was signed to Rap A Lot, then if you go down to New Orleans they had plenty of rappers get killed in the 1990s alone.
That gun is a dangerous weapon. It gives alot of people false courage. I'm glad bun explained that things don't always turn out in the favor of the aggressor. Much respect to the Living Legend Bun B..#trill
I feel Bun need to be online and in class teachin street101 cause he and pimp saved alot of niggaz lives with the things they were sayin in their music...@BHighAtl tell him I said it and plz brother keep brangin us these real interviews
Shyttin me, I got robbed and I work at McDonald's!!! Don't use Atlanta for an example because Atlanta is ruthless.. I'll NEVER live on the west side again #TrueBusiness
Naaa that's ol skool...always heard my uncle say, don't pull it unless you are going to use it... Those discussions about the responsibility of carrying and firing a gun, are very important. There is no turning back once you pull that gun and squeeze that trigger, so you better have an understanding of when and why.
Situational awareness is key part of life. Every day, at any moment any one can be caught lacking and predators/jackers seek out those who are in condition white. You must live in condition yellow.
Imma have to call bs, cause if old school can take you back in time, if rnb can make you love, then trap music can make you do crimes and sell drugs. For you to like the music you have to understand it, and we're human we learn through voice and seeing it and what is the drill music and trap music telling you and showing you! Yall can be blind to it all you want to but what is the streets, news, media showing and telling you!
I’m live in the Chi any and everybody is a target. I don’t care if you rich, broke, old, young, police, babies ect… You got to just be here for a couple weeks and You Will Understand Quickly. No cap but it’s sad
@@RANInkTV NOW I GOTTA SEE THE VIDEO TO REMEMBER ALL THE LYRICS!!! I USED TO PLAY THIS SONG IN MY 87 CUTLASS ON CHROME DAYTONS BACK IN THE 90'S!!! I'M 48 NOW!!! TIME FLIES BUT A CLASSIC NEVER DIES!!!! I PREFER THE S550 BENZ BY THE WAY!!!! LOL
@@mikeoxlong8264 For real. After rewatching it in later 2000's I noticed more cameos from the Dungeon Family and I even thought I saw a young Gucci Mane. I don't remember all the lyrics either haha. Oh the classic Cutlass on dem thangs
Ain't gon lie I was speaking on this yesterday. Bun ain't speaking on the reality of the artform. But its always friendly pats on the back to all the fake artist that fall off and leeching
Bun spitting with this 1. You gotta know when to use ur gun. Im neva aggressive when I got my gun. An when I get into a argument or heated situation with live 1s, I give my gun toy wife
That isn't true, you can't chase someone down the street and kill them from breaking into your house. You about to get some people sent to prison saying that bs.
@lilcourtny08 Obliviously you don't understand the facts of the case nor do understand Texas Law vs. Alabama Law. In the state of Alabama, deadly force can be applied, when the suspect is fleeing the commission of a felony.
@lilcourtny08 Do you not understand how the Fourth Amendment is applied? Where did you study criminal justice, and where did you go to law school? It's literally called Felony Fleeing. You can't flee a Felony and then put other people in danger and not expect deadly force to be applied. The person broke in Bun B' house with a gun. When fleeing he could have another ARMED HOME INVASION ...Armed Car Jacking....any felony...know the law and application before commenting. Are you even a home and gun owner?
Just curious why the color mattered??!!!! If the individual is threatening you and your family well it is what it is. No matter the color you going to get dealt with.
It's one thing to get your ass whipped and get your gun taken from you... and it's another thing to get the drop on someone during a jack move and he disarms you and gets you. A lot of fools are just not handy with their tools or fists.
Nahhh it's violence in hip hop. Rapper are disrespecting the dead, paying for hits, and celebrated and rewarded for it. Not just getting robbed and killed they're responsible for it too.
You don't know ghetto mafia do you? That's Wicked bro he was making hot shit in the 90s way before he became a podcast host. Even Bun himself gave him his flowers in another interview they did.
The sad truth that nobody is really talking about is the fact that our biggest threat to us(black men)are our own people!!!,im also in my 50’s and during my 20’s to early 40’s I was involved in several shootings where I had to protect myself against men that looked like me!!!, and to this day I can’t say that I feel safer around my own people!!, I know hella men that feel the same way as I do and the sh*t is pathetic!!!!.,that’s where we are right now in society and it’s been that way for my entire life!!!,sad but true!!
